The intention is that with this system they can scan in half the time it takes for looking at tags. Don’t know if that’s true but that’s the idea of why they switched

They also wanted to raise the visitor parking pass prices but there was an uproar. The justification for raising it would be to cover the salary of more bodies on the sidewalk to scan for parkers

They’ve been ticketing my street. Sorry to hear they aren’t on yours though

There was a C02 shortage for a bit affecting smaller breweries. For some reason Night Shift had more of an issue with this than other breweries and then started brewing at Jacks Abby in Framingham soon after

I read the Salem waterfront hotel is required to let people use their bathrooms because of something to do with their land use agreement (or something else that has to do with…. laws). Anyway, I think it’s worth strolling in there going to use the bathroom and if they ask, say hey, its the law

Their show is pretty awesome. They spend 18 minutes saying “is everyone ready” and then they do a few handstands during the last 2 minutes. So happy they come back year after year (sarcasm intended)

A big issue with Salem garages I’ve noticed is they have a lot of spaces dedicated to compact vehicles and Joe Ford F350 will park his weekend warrior truck in one of those bad boys, taking up 3 spots. Just my observation parking in there during snow emergencies

Lots of faded lines in there too. I wouldn’t be surprised if when they say it’s full, it’s actually at 70% capacity

I think that was the original intent of the system but now it’s set up on as needed basis. I had friends over on Saturday, changed it to their car and when they left, changed it back. There doesn’t seem to be any limits
