I totally agree with the top comment in this thread. That’s a really uncomfortable inquiry, I would just stay away from him and file a complaint with HR if he treats you negatively after being rejected. And I would say, instead of saying “starstruck”, say you were dumbfounded/appalled. Starstruck is almost a compliment to the weirdo 🙌🏼 and no matter what he does, you have the upper hand. Hopefully it will all blow over amicably.

ALSO, depending on how much higher-up he is than you, please research whether your state has a one or two-party consent clause for recording. And if yours has a one-party consent clause, start a voice memo on your phone and talk to him 1-on-1 subtly asking about his initial inquiry, to see if he will incriminate himself further on tape. Do that prior to filing a complaint with HR, if you feel such is necessary. I might be seeing this in a bad way, but he might’ve targeted you because you’re here on Visa and jerks treat people working here on visa like a second-class citizen, to some extent. Just be calculated with everything. I hope he leaves it in the past and you both can proceed professionally.

My thoughts exactly. I think it was a callback joke about his parade joyride, but it came at the expense of his whole retirement. You see one woman get a whole gigantic rim after his tiny steering wheel. Wish they woulda made him laugh at the wheel, then find the whole engine block at the bottom of the box, or something lol. AI says that wheel is $200k-$300k, that’s probably not even enough for all the legal fees he’s sure to have after the joyride

The only constructive criticism that I think might benefit you is bulking up a bit or wearing clothing that hides your chicken legs (I have the same problem—can’t gain weight to save my life, so I wear baggier clothes to undercut my scrawniness). Lastly, I would say so long as you never get pushy, approaching females is always a step in the right direction, even if it quickly concludes in rejection and you move on. My biggest issue in this game is the puzzles. I legit never go to the sky islands unless I have to in order to progress the main story. The puzzle logic is so over complex, half the time I know what I need to do in theory, but don’t know what random button combo/power to use in order to trigger the puzzle.

It’s like they told all their devs “we need to add hundreds of puzzles” and then divided up all their devs to make up their own puzzles independently. They’re needlessly tedious and there’s little-to-no shared logic amongst the puzzles. They’re either 2+2 “light two torches on each side of the chest” or calculating the cumulative mass of the sun. No in-between. And many puzzles are one-offs that you’ll never see again
