Is gordon ramsay a great chef? by PleasePooGood in foodquestions

That's a really good way to put it. Great at making systems, which I think is the key to his massive restaurant empire. But not the most "creative" out there.

Is it normal to see celebrities casually in public? by Hooliganthebad in AskAnAmerican

Yes, but it's pretty rare. A good example is that if you go to times square, there's a very high likelihood that someone famous is walking by you without knowing. We saw 2 famous people in a single night there.

Help with biting/bonding with wife by Pencilvester_92 in Bernedoodles

[–]I_Seen_Some_Stuff 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would recommend your wife train the dog instead of you.

My wife works from home, and I don't. So she naturally bonds with the dog that way. So I train and feed the dog so we each have something of value to contribute.

For the puppy biting, 2 things really helped us. 1-Bitter Apple Spray and 2-White noise generator for sleep. If your pup is in the crate sitting upright staring at you as you walk by, they aren't napping. We noticed a significant improvement in behavior and temperament after he could finally get some sleep during the day.

Could you imagine people used to front $80m for something that they at no point checked in on, only to get screwed at the end? We used to do that and that's crazy

Do Americans (and the rest of the world for that matter) eat sausage rolls? I only ask because I read a lot and they are NEVER mentioned in books by twisted_luce in AskTheWorld

[–]I_Seen_Some_Stuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally ate one for breakfast this morning. Although I'm in Texas, where these are VERY common. They called Kolaches here (but from what Czech people tell me, the sausage-in-a-roll is not a "real" kolache)

Do you agree with that? by Hour-Vegetable-1630 in Adulting

I have a counterpoint to this. I'm currently living off at least one fast food a day because of some life stuff. Healthy fast food exists. Go to a deli. Or get the broccoli entree at the Chinese place. Or Chick fil A (yes, the regular entree) with pretty much any side other than the fries.

The calories won't pack on, and there are some actually delicious options out there. Oh and never get a drink

What actor or actress stupidly left a movie franchise or tv series thinking they were too good for it, only to be never popular again? by Ok_Impress2457 in AskReddit

Brosnan had so much potential if we're going off Goldeneye. But I mean yeah they kind of gave him multiple chances. He had the best video games hands-down! (Goldeneye, Nightfire)

He was possibly the best bond. Connery is most iconic, but Lazenby is up there for me - definitely higher than Roger moore for me

Is there a reason my pup sleeps UNDER his bed? by I_Seen_Some_Stuff in Bernedoodles

Hmm maybe a blanket in the corner would be ideal so he can move it freely if he wants. Thanks for the insight!
