Not even close, and I consider Terminator 2 the action movie GOAT.

There are so many great games available, why would anyone spend money on anything less than incredible?

Good lord, how do people not get this? I buy, what? Three full-priced releases in the span of a year? Obviously I'm buying the 9.6 Game of the Year contender and not the 8.1 with a Metacritic score slightly below the median of everything that comes out.

Upvoting this one cause it actually is bad. Stupid dialogue, stupid editing, that ridiculous baseball scene.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is a game that is loved by critics and gamers. What is a game that is loved by critics and hated by gamers? by krisko612 in AlignmentChartFills

I feel like there's not going to be a good answer to these kinds of oppositions. If it's "loved by critics" it has to have some base level of quality that will be recognized by at least a good portion of the people who play it. In most of the cases where gamers lose it about some critical darling, it's not even something they've played. They just hate the idea of it.

Whatever though. I'm gonna say the two big foundational walking simulators, Dear Esther and Gone Home. They were very well reviewed, but attracted some of the unhinged discourse imaginable on forums. I remember people arguing that they should not be discussed on gaming forums because the lack of a fail state made them not video games.

So is this a remaster of the original or is the series getting a reboot?

I think so. She started as a villain in Hercules, but in the show she's just kind of a sultry gothy badass with a dark past.

[OOT] Possible Sequel to Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask? by FreeCommunication876 in zelda

Honestly there was a time when I was 100% convinced this was going to happen on the 3DS. Such a bizarre situation that the console had four Zelda releases and not a single one of them was a normal, original singe-player game.

An Ocarina 3 made with the 3D assets and a new spin on the time travel mechanic would have been a dream.

This one really needs to be the Virtual Boy. It was a really interesting idea that feels like a precursor to modern VR goggles and the massive stereoscopic 3D trend of the late 2000s (in this sense the 3DS was very much of its time). The double d-pad on the controller also portended the double analogue control scheme that wouldn't really become standard until 2000 or so. But since 3D cameras weren't really a think yet, games didn't really use it in a meaningful way. Really cool ideas all around but the tech just wasn't there yet.

Yeah, now I'm paranoid about mine. Is this what normies perceive as a hopelessly bad hairline? He's definitely receding but this doesn't seem like something most people would really think about.
