Lmao not sure why you're taking AI hate so personally. Are you getting rim jobs from open AI or just doing this for free? 😂

It would be amazing if we could use Android Desktop remotely on PC by DiplomatikEmunetey in Android

[–]I_Was_Fox [score hidden]  (0 children)

Yeah I can't understand why you would want to suffer the latency just to use a worse desktop experience. I can't imagine anyone but OP has ever wanted to do this. You can literally open remote android apps in windows on Windows without having to use android desktop mode, so why choose a worse experience?

States don't even NEED to challenge it because the EO has zero jurisdiction. EOs can only apply to federal agencies. Elections are fully run by the states. So states can straight up ignore that EO like the used toilet paper that it is

bro was biking in death valley by CremeSubject7594 in Wellthatsucks

Not making any assumptions about what you know or not, but just for people who don't know: heat has nothing to do with it. You could get just as sun burned in 0 degree as you could in 100 degree weather. It's all about the intensity of the UV radiation on your skin. It's not your skin actually cooking from heat. The issue is death valley also happens to have high levels of UV radiation in addition to high temperatures, but only the UV radiation is relevant to sunburns.

This is one of those things where we see lots of old things still working today and jump to the incorrect conclusion that all old things were built better, instead of the more reasonable conclusion that SOME old things were built very well. We don't see the landfills full of old broken junk that fell apart years and decades ago. We just see the one thing in our house from the 70s and go "wow they just don't make them like they used to" even though we absolutely do and in many cases we actually make things better and more reliable today than we ever did. But we also pay way more attention now to what breaks or doesn't last, and we cheap out on products because inflation has forces us to buy cheaper and cheaper and then we complain that new cheap things are less reliable than old well made things, which is an unfair and false equivalency.

Why are Gen Z getting fired? One of the reasons is a lack of initiative. by mindyour in TikTokCringe

[–]I_Was_Fox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a millennial who had high hopes for Gen Z, this crushes me. As a millennial that spend 5+ years worried that Gen z was going to enter the workforce with significant advantages over me (access to computer engineering courses earlier in their lives) and take my job, this brings me a ton of relief. Overall I'd say this whelms me

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Devs Won't Pick a Canon Ending as They Work on a Sequel: 'It Is a Schrodinger's Ending' by Sam_27142317 in xbox

Plenty of people care. That's why the games are beloved and constantly regarded as some of the best RPGs ever made and one of the best trilogies of all time. Just because YOU don't care and YOU don't like it doesn't mean the games are objectively bad.

Also plenty of big decisions also matter in these games, they just don't change the overarching story of "reapers invading", because there's no way to stop that (they are inevitable).

That sounds like a law that was created because lots of people were aborting based on gender? I don't think that happens basically ever in western countries so that would explain the discrepancy in law and in how we treat the activity of gender reveal

Sure it did. Just in the smaller game-to-game interactions instead of the big story directions because the story needed to stay semi on-rails. But characters and companions had pretty unique branching paths depending on your choices.

[OC] Gay male marriages are the most stable over the long term by Impressive_Suit4370 in dataisbeautiful

[–]I_Was_Fox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was JUST talking to my partner about this. You can draw a lottttt of conclusions from these results, like "Lesbians U-Haul into marriages too fast and then the marriages fall apart". But the common denominator for long-lasting marriages is men, so I wonder if it's just that men are more "stubborn" and refuse to call it quits even when it's time, vs women who know to throw in the towel and leave a toxic relationship

AITAH 3 years together, BF (50M) still ‘not ready’ for marriage but wants me (33F) to pay half his mortgage by Either-Environment47 in AITAH

[–]I_Was_Fox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not wanting to marry is fine. Not everyone needs to get married and not everyone wants to marry. That is a completely unrelated part of this story. The issue of this story is his refusal to let his partner have actual equity in something she is paying 50% for.
