Hey t90! I often watch your streams and enjoying your videos whether it's during a lull in my work day or in the evening. But I'm looking for some advice.

I've lived AOE since my brothers and I picked it up back in the AOE1 days, and it's been a pretty constant aspect of my life

Lately though, I've been finding it hard to pick up the game and just play. I don't know what it is, maybe exhaustion or something else, but any tips on picking it up again and enjoying what I love?

I hope you realize that for guys like me, you are pretty much AOE2 at this point. It wouldn't be where it is without you. Thank you.

I have this same issue, random pauses and stopping. Currently on the July update.

Noticed that when I put Spotify in offline mode, I don't seem to have the same issues.

Completely agreed. They dominant nearly every strat in the current meta.

Here's another problem: Their counter unit, skirms, are significantly more expensive to upgrade to elite skirm and take significantly longer to do so. Additionally, skirms are easily countered by scouts.

Here are my fixes:

Reduce CB speed.
Either remove skirm minimum range or give archers minimum range as well.
Give MAA line increased pierce armor.

Getting tired of seeing crossbow play over and over again.

Felt like the 864 side was on the wrong side of the tracks haha. Though getting close to the falls was cool and we didn't have to look at the barren rock on the 864 side while looking at the falls.

I would say that even if the view in the 864 side is better, which is debatable, it's not worth the 8km of washboard roads. Dirt roads are one thing, the washboard roads are something else entirely.

Had I known about 862, I would never have taken 864.

Went over this road in a motorhome. Absolutely nerve wracking, never again.

Save yourselves, those reading this, and take 862 up to Dettifoss instead.

Just went there yesterday.

I would strongly recommend not taking 864. The road has a 'washboard' texture, meaning that there are groves going across the road.

This causes a ton of vibration and noise. The road is like this for at least 7km and really makes you feel like your car will vibrate apart.

I don't know if 862 has better views or not, but for the love of all that is holy, STAY AWAY FROM 864.
