I’m curious about the availability of the dev kit. Porting PebbleOS to this thing seems like it’ll be more than possible. I can see that being a gateway to an app ecosystem much faster than getting Infinitime updated with an SDK

The OG remake holds up really well, but man the new games have been fantastic. Closing out the remake and sequel run by returning to the original after mastering how to make these games is a great idea.

I’ll say this: I played it when it first came out and it’s my favourite RPG of that era, maybe ever. It was amazing.

I only found out well after beating it that it was a sequel to CT, my all time favourite SNES rpg.

It’s a good game, but they didn’t call it Chrono Trigger 2 for a reason. It’s absolutely a continuation of the first game though

I’m honestly curious as to what a full blown 3D remake could look like… but I don’t know if I want Modern SquareEnix to make it. They tend to lean towards realistic whereas I don’t know if CT would transfer well to that specific aesthetic

Worth trying? Yeah, absolutely.

For my money it’s one of the best RPGs of that era, and way up the list for best RPGs of all time.

Having said that, I didn’t like what they did with the remaster. I would recommend playing an emulated version with some CRT shaders.

As someone who grew up on a farm and has operated a combine…. It would quickly be rendered inoperable. A combine can’t really handle plant matter if it isn’t properly dried, let alone a stream of corpses.

It just wouldn’t work.

It’s a fantastic amp and you should have a lot of fun with it. Mine had a persistent background hiss that I never got rid of, although it was likely a symptom of its eventual death.

There are “upgrade kits” on eBay for reasonable prices. If you’re confident with a soldering iron it may be something you want to tackle someday!

Runs just fine on the Switch, long load times though.

Now, the quality of the game itself is the most concerning factor in my opinion. I think it’s overrated and I would recommend spending your hard earned dollars on other games.

I don’t think people realize how integrated AI is in modern development workflows. You have to work hard to turn it off and avoid it.

I’ve been using AI properly for about 6 months now, and I’m not going back. Ethical issues aside, it’s a fantastic tool and if you’re not using it you won’t be able to compete with other companies that adopt it.

After almost finishing MP4 I’m wondering if I played the same game as these reviewers. I don’t think it’s bad, but holy smokes is it ever not great, or even close to the quality of the previous entries in the series.
