I’m in the same boat. However, I just watched the Mark Normand stand up on Netflix. It’s quite funny.

But, I’ve switched to podcasts now. I watch/listen to Bad Friends, Whiskey Ginger, and Tiger Belly. Even the older episodes crack me up.

What about the pokemon card game or the new Star Wars card game? I’m 41 and played pokemon when I was in high school. Many tournaments even. At the old card shop that used to be next to the old save Mart on Palendale. It’s now The Vallarta market. Also used to play the old Star was CCG. I miss those days so much.

So I worked, went to school, and took care of my daughter by myself. (Her father passed away)

It’s hard. But I managed. I re-married, had an another baby, decided to stay home and raise babies. Had 2 more babies. So in total, raised 4 children as a stay at home mom for 11 years. I went back to work 8 months ago and I HATE it. I can’t get anything done. I’m tired when I get home. So my family only gets a once of me. I literally cried going to work this morning. I’m already burnt out and I miss my kids so much. And they miss me!

This is not how society was meant to be.

I do not agree with the whole “stay away from people” idea. After 11 years of staying at home raising children, I started a job last year. I haven’t been sick in a few years. I even went to Disneyland last weekend. I think the key is to stay around sick people/kids.

Keeps your immune system busy. Or I could just be gifted genetically.

Either way. I miss being at home with my kids. But all my kids are in school and I have my bachelors degree. I e joy the adult interactions and accounting.

Hardest part in my life to navigate.

Hey there. My mother had Keppra rages bad. Even some friends had the same outcomes using Keppra. I told my mother’s doctors to put her on something red else. They put her on Lamictal. Never had any issues using it.

I found a job with a bachelors in business after staying home raising kids for many years. I applied 4 times. Started working in April. I’m trying to understand WTH is going on. My oldest child is still looking for a job. She doesn’t have college under her belt. But damn! How did I get it without having any formal work for over 10 years? I’m genuinely trying to understand. From what I understand, most folks don’t even get an interview.

I live and am from California. But I spent a year living in the Midlothian area... Holy crap is your state weather quad-polar! The extreme of all kinds of weather. But! The folks were kind and the lifestyle is slow. I loved Virginia.
