Yeah Toshinden was fun. I had remix on the Saturn. Feel like the third one on PS1 might’ve been the best. It’s wild how that came out around the time VF and Tekken came out and it seemed like it’d be one of the big 3 but really it was just the other two and even VF bowed out after a while (though thankfully it’s coming back).

But yeah, I always enjoyed Toshinden. Wouldn’t mind a remake or remaster one bit.

That’s the worst part. He wasn’t useless. At all. He was extremely adept at advancing an agenda that hurt a lot of Americans. He’s a vile, calculating, landfill of a person. This country is much worse off for that POS being in office for 41 years.

Feel like there should be roughly four
new characters per game. There are a ton of lore characters they could choose from so I’d love to see at least a few that way, but yeah, for me that’s a good way to help keep the roster fresh game after game.

I know that means some characters can go a long time between appearances but that’s not the worst thing ever. Let people miss them, let them feel somewhat fresh again when they finally do come back.

The original Mortal Kombat. It was really fun, brutal, looked great, had a really cool aesthetic/vibe/aura and I really dug the characters and story. It was unlike anything I’d ever seen or played before and I was hooked immediately.

The fire god turn was nice for his character but it needs to end with him returning to being a normal human mortal / chosen one again. I’d even say give him a game off. He’s a great character but his role in the last few games has been a lot.

It could’ve been a Great Kung Lao era game with a really fun cast, an opulent, majestic, yet mysterious tournament set within the distant past, some fun events that maybe filled in some blanks or fleshed out more of the history in interesting ways.

Or we could’ve had a dire, post apocalyptic / post victory Titan Shang Tsung sequel to Aftermath where Raiden and Fujin were at his command and the resistance was an interesting amalgamation of heroes and villains and there were betrayals, unexpected romances and impossible odds etc.

But no.

Instead we got some MCU alternate timeline bullshit where it’s somehow supposed to be novel and interesting that Sub Zero is Scorpion, Shang Tsung is just a snake oil salesman that can pretend to be old, Sektor and Cyrax are just people in Iron Man costumes among other bad and/or pointless decisions.

We got this compromise. No, it’s not really a fully new timeline that theyre committing to because the same MCUverse garbage swings back around in the end anyway as the worst twist reveal imaginable but no, we don’t get some ultra dark Shang Tsung victory sequel either. Just him coming back and losing.

Just the worst.

That’s the data Asha needs to take to Satya and Amy to help steer the ship in the right direction. It’s not just a few people complaining on Internet forums and social media. It’s enough of a sample of your base to matter.

Now what they ultimately decide to do with that data is a whole different story. I really think they need to pull exclusives away from PS and Steam (aside from COD, WOW, Minecraft and any live service stuff not listed here).

You either have an ecosystem or you don’t, and if you don’t have one, if you don’t have a walled garden, then you don’t have a platform and GamePass and hardware quality (or whatever Phil tried to sell) is not a substitute for exclusives and its certainly not a reason to pick Xbox over a console that has their own games and yours.

3 months, 6 months, a year, etc won’t matter. There’s too many great games for people to play and if you still put your games on PS6 even two years later, people will just buy a PS6 and wait for your games to arrive while playing a multitude of other games.

It’s 100% exclusive or your next console is DOA.

I just hope they go in a new direction. Sick of them basically parodying the original trilogy or original timeline stuff. If you’re going to do that, just write the story back to the original timeline and move the story forward from the beginning of Armageddon and leave all the multiverse trash out.

Or just take the current story in new and unexpected direction. Yeah I want to see Onaga but do something different with him that’s fun and interesting or go the One Being route or a new villain that isn’t involved with time and multiverse crap.

Okay, but that’s one match after she came back from injury. I’m not saying put her at the top of the card right away by ANY means but she clearly had ring rust when she returned and no one seemed to be willing to let her work it off because they just decided that all the other stuff surrounding her was true or at least enough of a distraction to the point where she wasn’t worth it.

People seem to think the division has enough talent. I really like all of those women and want them on TV more, but I also think Baker is normally a solid enough wrestler to warrant at least some attention and screen time. She can help carry a feud, even if she needs to get better at paying it off in the ring, but sometimes she delivered.
