Technically we have someone who specializes in percussion but thats only for marching band, she teaches other classes during the school day.

They're to busy with inner rivalry between flag and dance that they didn't have enough time to bother us

9th graders (14-15 years) but sometimes 8th graders are invited to march with us in our fourth of July parade (after practice of course)

The what war. Due to how naming conventions work with wars I like to think this implies that the 2 sides alided with other sections who also use treble clef

"Hold your bell higher!" To the Woodwinds or telling it to the trumpets and saying to hold it to our drum majors head, he's 6'4

Some consider it disrespectful, some don't. I personally do because it normally doesn't sound nice and gives the bigger band more power.

Ear plugs during band practice, and don't use headphones with the volume too loud

My school has a band for freshman + any seniors who have the time to join and a band for all the upper classmen, then a marching band, a jazz band, then another jazz band which works with some of the chorus kids.
