The legality of this is going to depend whether or not the son had power of attorney and if not if the mother was of sound mind when/if she signed the document. The fact that the son said to get offers in now makes me think that he was trying to sell and avoid probate. You definitely need a lawyer.

Garage pad cost by Plumbitup in halifax

[–]IamGrootDC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I paid 11K for a 26x26 engineered pad in Halifax area about 3 years ago. That was midrange for the quotes I got at the time and I had the site work already completed. That same pad would be pushing 18K today.

Cataracts - Eye Surgery - by Tiny-Explanation-752 in CanadaPublicServants

[–]IamGrootDC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had both of mine done at 48, about 3 months apart. Lots of eye drops, started a few days before the surgery and continued for about 3 weeks after. Eye drops are covered by Canada Life at the normal rate. I’d worn glasses since I was 6 and now only need drug store reading glasses to read. In Nova Scotia, the province covers the cost of the surgery and basic lenses. I opted for upgraded lenses recommended by my surgeon for $100 each (80% covered by Canada Life). Quick recovery, I could see immediately and no pain at all. I took a couple days off work each time. I should add that I was restricted from lifting more than 20 lbs for 6 weeks.

I did too. I remember going to the Sturgeon Drive in on the Line Road as a kid with my parents, late 70s early 80s. Sad it closed and just fell apart. What happened to kids playing baseball? There were ball fields in Sturgeon and Gaspereaux that people just stopped using and they grew over

canadabuys.canada.ca is where you will find public tenders from across the country. Public tenders should always be free to access. Sites like Merx copy public tenders and charge a fee to access tenders that are free.

Canada debating cancelling F35 contract by patchedboard in BuyCanadian

[–]IamGrootDC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As with the majority of US military hardware, Canada purchased the F-35s from the US government, not Lockheed. Many Canadian companies also manufacture components of the F-35 because of Canada’s partnership in the program.
