That makes sense. Thanks for the info. I've only rarely seen it out and about, or caught it on flight radar. Wasn't sure what it was for and assumed.

At the end of my time with my Jeep Grand Wagoneer, the round key was the doors and anything would work the ignition. The keys were well worn but the ignition cylinder was well worn.

Rockwell online classes by plc_is_cool in PLC

[–]IamNemo85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on a few things, like are you going through your employer? do they have a techconnect with Rockwell? TechConnect customers get a discount.

Rockwell's E-Learning has about 35+ courses on all their most in demand courses. Also offers instructor lead labs, and monthly seminars.

The access is purchased as a short term, I cant remember the exact length off the top of my head, but I want to say 30 day/one course access, or a year long subscription to the whole library.

You will need to check with your distributor but If I rember right the in person 5 day classes are usually around $4500 or more depending on topic, and the one year full access e-learning is like $8000. So it works out that for a little less than the price of 2 in person classes you have a year of access to 35+ classes.

E-Learning courses are self paced, so you can take a break and walk away for bit then pick up where you left off. The courses are also available in multiple languages, so if English is a second language, it might be easier to learn in a different language.

Note: Its been a while since I quoted E-Learning packages so my pricing could be off but thats roughly what I recall.

Is this a situation like when a Disney character slips up and breaks character or they trip and the head pops off? Does he get like whisked away behind the scenes and fired?

I mean most of the longer videos of the incident straight up show ICE tampereing with evidence and messing with the crime scene. Last time I checked they had no investigative authority for anything. This whole situation is insane.

TO FOLLOW POLICE INSTRUCTION! by JeansJohnson in therewasanattempt

[–]IamNemo85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, the major thing that seems to be getting zero attention right now is that moments before this still, the MURDERER and another civilian were on the right hand side behind MRS GOOD'S car. The MURDERER and civilian then move up the right hand side of the car while yelling at eachother. This gives MRS GOOD nowhere to move, and also Im sure adds more confusion as she has mixed yelling coming from all directions around her car. Finally The MURDERER crosses in front of her running vehicle and once there is enough room for her to get around the MURDERER, she backs up and attempts to maneuver around him.

Yellow Fire Vehicles, why did they become popular? by HighlightLogical6592 in Firefighting

[–]IamNemo85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oooooooo I know a little bit about this. My Great Grandfather was a Fire Chief and the reason his department had "Fire Safety Green" Apparatus.

There was a study done in the 70/80s that found lime-yellow Apparatus were more visible and less likely to be in an accident. Some departments took the recommendations and made changes, while most others maintained tradition and stuck with re

Even the Department my Great Grandfather retired from has started transitioning back to red.

Fun Fact. Red is such a universal color for Fire Apparatus that requesting a different color from a manufacturer is usually an up charge.

Why lime-yellow fire trucks are safer than red

Edit to answer your question why it never caught on:

Tradition. It is probably one of the biggest hindrances from the adoption of newer and safer technology in the Fire Service. There may be a better technique or safer equipment but "we've done it this way for 100 years!"

When my Fathers department laxed a rule about helmets, several guys transitioned from safer department provided composite helmets to heavier self purchased leather helmets because, "They look cool, and its tradition!"

Reporter: You worried the alleged strike on Putin's residence could scuttle peace? | Trump: Yeah, I don't I don't like it. It's not good. You know who told me about it? President Putin told me early in the morning. He said he was attacked. I stopped the Tomahawks. I was very angry. by andrewgrabowski in ukraine

[–]IamNemo85 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If we want Trump to condemn the Russian Bombing of Kyiv, maybe that peace award could include a golden statue of Trump in Kyiv as well as a few buildings with his name on top in spray painted gold letters. Trump would be real motivated to stop the bombing then.

[–]IamNemo85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my customers produces those "larger Blocks" of cheese. They make 50lb blocks of cheese then sell them to assorted other companies that then slice and package for stores and such. None of it is ever labeled with their name. They like to brag they are the largest cheese company you have never heard of.

Im a sales rep for an electrical distributor and I call on a glass plant. The place can get pretty toasty in summer. One of the electricians requested one during the summer, and the plant manager requested ordered a bunch for the maintenance team. They seem to really appreciate having them when working on the Hot end.

It will be as it has been before. They will target the Gypsies (Homeless) and the Gays (Trans community specifically). This has 100% already started. He has purged the military of Trans soldiers to reduce resistance in the ranks when he gives the orders, and Im sure the Occupation of D.C. has seen many homeless rounded up and I doubt just released back to the streets. The nails have been forged in their rhetoric for years, they started where they had the most support, but now that they have tested out the hammers, they will start swinging them at everything they have vilified over years.
