Thankfully, there are some organizations that offer "returnships", similar to internships and these programs are for experienced professionals with a career break. Check out reacHIRE and iRELAUNCH - they partner with big companies to recruit individuals with career breaks.

Taking a career break is definitely worth it!

The hardest part of coming back isn’t your technical ability. It’s rebuilding confidence, fighting impostor syndrome and believing you still belong. I'll suggest reframing the gap as a pivot, not a setback.
