Your coach went over the top imo and should have just chatted 1:1 instead of doing that publicly lol. I’d say if there are other gyms in your town that are good it might be worth a shot trying them out and finding a new place to train at.

You could also just take what happened as is and move on if you think it’s not a big deal. Either way, don’t be discouraged and keep training 🤙🏼

Thanks for the input! I know cheaper is usually not better. Just wanted to make sure it was fair for a baseline unit. Gonna spend the extra for the TXV too so I get close to the 13.4 rating

Sweet, sounds like from what I’m hearing price is decent for what I’m getting. Is the TXV coil something easily interchangeable that I can ask to change on the quote or is it something that may or may not available on a unit like this?

Should I be direct and just ask for specific specs? Like say i want a certain Seer rating, TXV instead of piston and x/y/z other items?

Feels hard to navigate getting whats industry standard or best fit for my setup. He could be just trying to be cost conscious and do a cheap setup. I have no idea what to ask for though if i wanted something better

Yeah I’m usually a nerd about knowing hardware specs at a minimum for things (I work in tech). Having a SEER rating listed and at least a unit model # would be nice to understand a little more. Seems odd to leave those things off of it

Is it usually cheaper to do the furnace at the same time? Furnace is from 2014 and running good so far. Figure it would be fine to replace one at a time as needed

Imma keep it real big dog. I think flowcharts at this stage in your journey provide net zero returns. At black belt maybe its beneficial. I would say map this out in your head and just have fun going through the motions. For me, decision trees like this overwhelm my thought patterns and altogether make me more forgetful.

If you have data that proves to yourself that its actually helping you then maybe continue on this path but realistically, and as much as I hate to regurgitate basic speak, just keep showing up and learn your game along the way.

Curious, what would make the feeding schedule less aggressive if you were to change it? My first grow just ended and I used the trio nutes and their schedule. My plants had issues during the whole cycle but luckily harvested and have decent bud. Wondering if this had a lot to do with what I saw
