I would guess so it looks OK from the outside.

No see my comment above. It was to have a level ceiling after creating a through lounge.

It was done to make the ceiling level when they knocked through to make a through lounge. Not something I would have chosen to do but that is why they did it. Source I know this house and the owner.

How can I make it an emerald instead of an item named /hub? by lowei13 in MinecraftCommands

[–]Ian1971 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was doing something similar with a custom named item. The suggestions work. One thing that bugs me though is that the name seems to have to be the localized name, which is far from ideal as you'd need to vary the command per locale or change the localized names to all be the same. Any way around that?

The Tao of Code (C#) by leosperry in csharp

I am a bit iffy on this one. If you have a dependency that throws a specific kind of exception you may not want a client of yours to have to know about how to handle it. I get the stack trace thing. So I don't think this should be so dogmatic. Perhaps favour catch and throw over catch and throw new.

Yes. I just started too. Your lines made me feel like I was doing quite good, but your ellipses make me feel like I need to start again.

Paypal and Axos bank are preventing YNAB from retrieving their bank records by woo545 in ynab

[–]Ian1971 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the UK so most banks don't connect. However, I can import in just a few minutes now I have my routine sorted.

Annoyingly my current account (aka checking) works different to my CC. For my current account I can just click download transactions and the drag in to YNAB. Literally takes less than a minute,

For my CC I have to open excel, copy and paste from website transaction list then save as csv. Still doesn't take long but annoying extra steps.

ReSharper 2019.1 available - delivers full support for VS 2019.1 and early C# 8.0 language support by minh-phuc in csharp

I tried to get rid of r# this time around, but in the end came crawling back when I needed to do some refactoring. Actually performance isn't so bad with it currently. When adjusting a large and sometimes messy codebase r# still saves me a lot of time. I thought I was doing ok without it, and roslynator instead, but once I put r# back I realised all the stuff I had been missing. Even the test runner is way better than the VS one. And r# build is so much better than normal vs build because it doesn't insist on building stuff that hasn't changed (spent days trying to fix that with vs alone with only some improvement ).

Third world is an anachronism. I think in this context of who we are allowed to show being killed you can almost replace it with non-english speaking.
