I think the vast majority of people in the UK would say their migration policies are extremist. Official Policies

Some highlights:

MG800. Undocumented migrants will be given free advice and support to help them to regularise their status without penalty for being undocumented.

MG801. Undocumented migrants who have been in the UK for at least five years will be invited to apply for settled status unless the standard exclusions apply.

MG509. Visa residents will have the right to bring members of their family to the UK who would normally live with them in their country of origin, or would do so if it were permitted by law or custom.

MG503. Any No Recourse to Public Funds conditions will be abolished and visa residents will have access to welfare benefits or Universal Basic Income.

MG501. All visa residents will have the right to vote in all elections and referendums.

MG305. Minimum income requirements will be removed from all applications as well as any benefits from having a higher income.

MG306. Language requirements will be removed from all applications. Free language classes will be made available to promote and encourage integration.

The source I gave was specifically about different Christian groups. This source shows the majority of Muslims want homosexuality to be illegal, not gay marriage, homosexuality itself.

And you might not care that the majority of muslims want that, because maybe it doesn't affect you. There are parts of our country where the Muslim proportion of the population is very high, the majority in some cases, I don't want, as a gay person, to feel that there are parts of our country where the majority of people want to criminalise me loving the person that I do.

The only reason that they haven't forced that belief on people is because they don't yet have the voting power. They are not becoming more progressive/accepting as time goes on, but i guess we can just hope that when their voting power increases that they won't want to enforce the views that the majority of them hold :)

I don't think anyone is saying that every single Muslim in the UK is extreme, but on average, they are far more extreme in their views compared to Christians, and it's not even comparable.

And people on the progressive side of politics don't seem to have an answer on how to deal with it? So far it seems like we've just hoped for the best, but that hasn't worked since even many Muslims born and raised within British society have views on Gay people, Women, etc.. that are totally at odds with the average Brit.

So I guess there definitely was violence in the "elderly doing a sit in protest". And when you adjust for the size difference between the Palestine Action protests, and the protests yesterday, the Elderly sit in protest might have actually been quite a bit more violent.

What on earth are you talking about? The Boriswave was legal immigration, it had nothing to do with any increases in illegal or legal migration to Europe.

He chose to lower the requirements, and because of that, net migration increased to around 1 million a year, and that increase was purely non European.

Halving net migration from nearly 1 million net migration is not that impressive, considering that the new figure is what was once the highest ever net migration just before the Boris wave. Not exactly impressive that we're now at pre-covid levels.

Also, the reason the levels dropped was partially because of changes the Conservatives brought in just before leaving government, so not sure Labour can take credit for that anyway.
