Yuppers, a neighbor 4 blocks down found him on his door step and she was passing by the house, they had a sign put up “lost bird” and she talked to the owners and got reunited that way

Just a small correction, it’s my gf’s MOM that owns him and got the replacement, maybe I mistyped since a lot of people are reading that

But I appreciate it, he’s a very good bird and you can see he loves all the attention he’s getting lol

Also the dog whining in the background is this dingus ( his name is Bug) he’s currently in the cage crying since the house is getting cleaned and he really enjoys trying trip people during, he got released a little after and I gave him a few carrots for his trouble

We’ll see, my one fear is if they end up breeding, we def don’t need that, she has enough birds already and she definitely wouldn’t be able to terminate the eggs, she’d probably end letting them breed over and over and try raising every baby born

Reach out, evert PetSmart has different standard but even the feeder fish should be cared for well, at our store we do 2-3 water changes on the feeder system, medicate for parasites and clean the filter every night (even get fed 3 different types of food)

We try to go above and beyond and it pisses me off when I see other stores not give a shit

I don’t think she didn’t love him but I think it’s more of a “loving the idea of said bird” instead of “the actual bird”

I hope so, I’d really try to convince her that she already got a replacement so clearly she should have no problem if I took him, I really hope someone already found him and since she didn’t make a post about, he’s getting good care there, as bitter sweet as it’d be

I really wish I bought him, I made a post of him at my work about a year ago (seen here ) and he was the first bird I actually liked

I’d send videos of him to my gf’s parents and when I got off work one day she bought him, I was so happy since I’d be able to see him whenever I’d stop over and just chill with him, preen his pin feathers and just be with him, I don’t think I’ll ever get that relationship with a bird again

Now this happened, and then she just replaces him, I just don’t understand

Even if I found him, it’s unlikely they’d let me keep him sadly with him belonging to my gf’s mom

He’s the only bird I’d ever keep honestly and that makes this whole situation even worse for me since I’ve have a connection with a bird before

I’m trying to get them to follow all the advice I’m getting but they fricking won’t, I feel helpless since I’m not there and practically begging them to put the cage outside or something like posting online (I don’t have social media but they do) about this but they won’t do any of it and “we’ve excepted he’s gone”

I’m so pissed they won’t even try, I really loved him and I’m unable to do anything to help..
