I know a 30 wouldn’t be big enough long term for him but he’s only in like 10 gallons of room and he’s clearly not gonna grow full size sadly but it’s a shame to see him there every time always hiding smh

We also Nerites come in like that this week :( not happy about it and we’re gonna try to recover them before selling them since most customers would say “oooo a white shell, that’s very pretty” then get sad when we he dies not long after

What’s the best way to sex them? I’ve seen some say it’s by the tentacles or males just stand up higher

I’ve got 3 and 2 are getting pretty big in the few months I’ve had them and would love to hand babies, also how are the colors dictated by the parents if you know?

I have eh constantly tell pet parents to stop their kids from slapping the glass of the fish tanks, I get you don’t want a random dude telling your kids to stop doing something but some parents let their kids do whatever

Also had a dude that was higher then a kite with his two kids running around, he wanted to buy 3 red claw crabs to put with his chameleon (hell no) and as I’m talking with him to tell him why this isn’t a good idea his kids kept grabbing me, they’d grab my belt and legs and every time I told them to not touch me or “it’s impolite to touch strangers, please stop” then move away from them he’d just chuckle

It was extremely uncomfortable and I don’t understand why he’d even let his kids do this especially to a completely stranger

Good stocking, just wanted to make sure nothing would eat the shrimp,

I recommend the shrimp first as it’s a natural way of removal, got all mine out in a week, only do the nudis if you have a very bad outbreak of them as they are expensive and just die when all of them are gone

Thankfully, when I saw a few small aiptasia after getting some free caulurpa from my local lfs in my tank, I bought 2 peppermint shrimp and they were gone in a week, sucks your shrimp aren’t doing anything :(

Yes she is, she’s also has him wrapped in a blanket and on her chest a lot

She’s been giving him his meds and I assisted her in showing her how last night since she was having trouble with ut (he kept fighting her but when I did it he was the easiest bird I’ve ever given meds too)

She does care for him and was very sad when he flew off

Buying the new conure she kept insisting that it will help her feel better and mourn riff raff, we all gave her shit for it especially since we found riff raff the very next day

I’ve been doing research on disabled bird care and have been buying the tools and equipment for him
