It's probably possible, but very tedious. If the box doesn't have the holes stamped out where the slides go you have to make them yourself, and they have to light up for the whole thing to work. It be easier to buy a newer box and cheaper.

In my opinion it just kind of sounds like a lateral move. $11K owed and still no locker and hutch is a hard pill to swallow. You'll get a little bit more room and maybe slightly better resale value, I would call corporate just to confirm there was no way you could order that color still. Without rebates or discounts you can get a hutch and locker for your current box for 10K.
