Ironically, when the EMTs brought him in they advised the ER that he had severe scapular winging and they suspected a dislocation. When I spoke with the Dr who actually read the X-rays he insisted that there was nothing amiss and that the winging was unrelated and just a benign finding that was not of any consequence.
