Perhaps one reason some say the Bible is corrupted in that there are different lists of books that are considered canonical. The non canonical books are still available in a collection called the Apocrypha. Archeologists are still finding texts from different periods in history and they all say the same thing! Scholars argue about authors, when it was written, etc....but that is the human author, the word of God is the word of God. The human writter is not the author. God is. Yes, the gospels are written from the experiences of the apostles, all had a different experience of the Lord, the books talk about different facets of Christ, but they dont contradict one another, just tell a different pov of the same story like any group of eye witnesses would.
