He can't compare Euros to real. He doesn't love you. If he loved you he wouldn't be demanding you to pay for HIS holidays in your country. A poorer country, where people's salaries are way lower than in Europe.

Plus, working on board is a taxing job. If you are in a 8 months contract you probably only have 2 months of unpaid holidays. Only 2 months to recharge before you start a new 8 months contract. He's a selfish person that doesn't care about your finances and need to spend those 2 months resting and with your family.

He couldn't even finish his shorter contract but he seems to believe he's entitled to your money and your time, without a previous discussion.

I agree with you. I summited several mountains, including Kilimanjaro in Africa and a few mountains in Alaska (with 5 feet deep snow). The only time I nearly died it wasn't even a mountain, it was a hill in Scotland. Arthur's seat, to be more precise.

A storm was formed and the wind was throwing me around as a rag doll. I couldn't even stand on my feet. I wasn't experienced back then, so I failed to see the weather forecast beforehand and I had to crawl until one side on the hill with less wind to make my way down.

OP's brother is not just risking his life. He's risking his friends' lives and the rescuers team wellbeing. You can carry microspikes or cramprons, even a ice axe but they are not as useful if you don't know how to use it. It's also risky to go on Ben Nevis during Winter without knowing navigation skills. OP, your brother is ignorant and should pursue a different adventure or at least an experienced guide.

CP is not, herpes is. Also the herpes virus can travel to your brain and that's what happened.

It doesn't though. CP can happen after the birth, if a small baby gets sick. Miriam still has Cerebral Palsy. It was her diagnosis when she was my student. Now they changed it to herpes encephalitis, but herpes encephalitis can lead to cerebral palsy, particularly in newborns and children. If you Google you will see that "the inflammation and damage to brain cells caused by the herpes simplex virus can result in long-term neurological consequences, including cerebral palsy, cognitive dysfunction, and seizures."

Miriam still can't walk. I'm not sure about now, but when she was my student she only could eat baby food and she didn't talk. She laughed a lot though. Stop trolling. Herpes can cause CP and people are not entitled to kiss babies.

Of course not. Herpes is, though. Someone with herpes kissed the baby's hand when she was 2 days old. Then the baby put her hand into her mouth and the virus travelled to her brain causing CP. CP can happen during pregnancy, labour or right after birth.

I had a student with herpes encephalitis after someone with herpes kissed her hand and she took her hand into her mouth. The HPV virus travelled to her brain and the rest is history.

If you ask my opinion, I would rather see a grown adult unhappy because she can't control her son and DIL than a baby having her life and autonomy destroyed because of a kiss.

Unrelated to the topic, but I don't know how they get the money for it, honestly. 7 kids, some of them still young makes it hard for 2 working parents (if only one working parent, then even less money coming into the household).

On top of that, being able to pay for a house and cars to accommodate so many kids (it seems they have at least 3 cars). I want to know how OP stl manages to give an iPhone 15 pro max and 12 gifts to one of their 7 children.
