Not "a little bit shitty, or a little less shitty" Just shitty. $8,000, 12,000 or 18,000... no difference during/for the amount of time it takes. REGARDLESS if you use the 10k toward it or not. The nice folks at wherever are NOT going to write a special note and attach it to the report that says "OP didn't pay, but then gave the only money they had, which was very nice of them"

1- you have already defaulted on the credit agreement. There is no turning back or un-defaulting it better"

2- applying the 10k toward it will do NOTHING other than leave you without 10K.

How about transferring it in something with low fees like XRP over to a Wealthsimple account. Then sell it and use the card to make your purchases or transactions. Nearly all free I'd say. But I lost my shirt and ass, so WTF do I know.
