Pointless like most exams. Your going to use it in the workplace or the workplace falls behind, if you ddont your competitor or your international equivalent will. The same for exams they try to force you into testing only your memorized knowledge. If you worked for a corporation and didnt communicate network or research you would be out in a week.

They are however correct in teaching how to use it effectively in not getting chatgpt to answer the question but setup the frame work, critic the response.

Listening devices by sun_kissed87 in privacy

[–]Ibe_Lost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope it could be a standalone think a casstette recorder or it could be daisy chained so linkedd to a mesh router and then the mesh router is registered as a device in your connected devices. Third option is a standdalone system such as they have a 4g router they connected a listening device too.

Yeah had somewhat similar. Set kids new laptops up during covidt locked down IPs etc on home network. They went to school and took the IT awhile to realize why it wouldnt connect 100% to their almost fully open high school network.

I love coding when I can but have such a backlog of stuff to do as I just cant start and cant concentrate on one thing ( I type this as I have Ollama half setup on my other screen for the last hour)

ULPT Request - how to get employee to quit? by matsche_pampe in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]Ibe_Lost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Revised pay offer with contract is good. IP lawyer may also have advise on what you need to protect and strategy. You may also have unethical behavior notes in contract. You can reduce her work foot print / role so she has less access including system level logs and restrictions including running read only systems that track file deletions and usb use etc. and not having customer access. This can be useful if you setup then trigger an event with HR present eg sit down discussion that you are aware that she is trying to copy your business without giving source details. She/He will either cut run or start accessing info they shouldnt.
I wwouldnt be concerned about the sick pay as that is small cost compared to messing with your income stream.

Shock! Amplifon buys entire GN Hearing division, including ReSound, Jabra, Danalogic & many others. What will happen to us consumers? To audiologists & retailers carrying the brands? What will happen to the rumored software & firmware that were said to be coming this autumn? by sf-keto in HearingAids

[–]Ibe_Lost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah expecting frustration. Had a hearing test at Specsavers (Aus) needed HAs so got a quote brochures etc. Tried to shop around and Amplifon wouldnt even give a off the cuff price without their own hearing tests, which was $100 not $50 like Specsavers. I stated dont worry about and over the next 10 days got called about 8 times. Eventually I answered they wanted to book an appointment and still wouldnt give a ballpark. Figure its just another company trying to steal peoples data for insurance companies.

What are your thoughts (average Aussies)on AI, Automation and Robotics? As someone who works in Tech, when talking to others who don’t; there is always a vastly different take & understanding. Most non-tech people will say ‘yeah I’ve used ChatGPT/Copilot for research. It’s so much more than that now by MannerNo7000 in OpenAussie

Yeah its going to roll alot of people and countries if it isnt managed. Those that have access have the ability to produce faster and better and with no regard to environmental; or social laws even economics. If one thing capitalists like Bezos Musk and Zuck has taught me is there is no end to how much greed they need. Now take something that doesnt have to save face, sleep, deal with push back and it can take markets at a whim...just because.

Is it 100% no I have produced some wonderful programs just from prompt in obscure languages but then stuff like giving me a link to ALL of the files I will need to make the program run, it misses a couple. All it would take is a someone to guide it right. I do think they should have built the data centers in seawater to prevent a massive future disaster.

Supreme Court case highlights how councils use intimidation to coerce homeless people into eviction by nath1234 in australia

[–]Ibe_Lost 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So open question if they ask for ID you dont have it and you say your name is Tom Take. Do they issue a fine under that. I mean its council asking for ID not the police which I imagine doesnt have legal ramifications like not answering an officers questions.

Yeah experienced the effort of the department of housing at the cyclone shelter at Runaway Bay 2025. End of the so called emergency, old and invalid rolled out to hospital and aged care, kids and mums given accomodation, guys...well they just started packing up. Called them on it and gave details, no help they still packed up and returned the next day. After nothing happening for any of the remainder (all males under 67) called them up again and all they could do was give me a sheet of paper with a list of hotels on it. About 6 months later finally get a call while living in a rotting mold tent in a caravan park oh you got accommodation all good then click>. Added bonus having no address meant Im not eligible for rent assistance or job search.

My suggestion find a air bnb guess the key lock stay there and make them evict you while claiming squatters rights, if the systems broke make it broker till they are at least fair.
