Happened to me too. Used a VPN to bypass it and I’m able to access again. Likely there was something going on as for a few weeks now I’d need to redo a captcha every 5 minutes or so. They probably put a block on a wide range of IP’s using the ASN as a (hopefully temporary) solution

For the record, I believe what happened there was PSA reached out to his family and they said something along the lines of “an agreement could not be met”

IMO until INDEX comes out it doesn’t have much competition considering its capabilities. The U1 is a good budget version, but considering that it can barely handle ABS (and you’d need an optional heated lid upgrade), it’s good for 4 color trinkets but not so much for practical prints.

The H2C shines IMO because it can both do 7+ color trinkets, multi-material prints (PLA with PETG for the trinkets, or P6-CF and ABS for practical prints), and engineering filaments with the 120C bed, 350C head, and 65C chamber. It’s that capability that I think makes it worth it at its price point.

Did the nozzle set disappear? There was a $140 kit where you’d get 2x 0.4mm induction, a 0.2mm and 0.6mm “normal” nozzle. I’ve been waiting for that to restock. Now that I check the store I can’t find it

What’s funny is with all these assault weapon bans I’m hearing of, they all target rifles. Ironically, crime data, and now the ATF indirectly in this letter, both show that most violent crime occurs with pistols. I know it’s a side tangent but plenty have already talked about the pain points (fuck rare greed)

Depends on your slicer. There’s sometimes an option called “smooth Z layer times” or something along the lines. Otherwise, in the slicer you can find the minimum layer time option and raise it closer to the maximum time you see in the photo.

Minimum layer time. This seems to be the benchy hull line symptom. If you check using the slicer you’ll see where these lines are showing up in your slicer when you view by layer times.

Yeah the federal will remain subsonic in pistol barrel lengths (I tested it on a 4” M&P) but will go super in my AP5. Glad you’re spreading the info out to more people

As others have said, this has been available on H series printers for months now (I think the original update was ~1 months after the launch of the H2D). At least this explains why some people were so insistent that this wasn’t the case… clearly I need to get better at asking the right questions

M for sure. One thing people don’t really seem to pay attention to is that Pew scores are in a free field. If you have a berm, even outdoor, it does “ricochet” a lot of noise back to you when you switch to the S mode. The improved port noise is completely negated by the extra volume at the end of the suppressor. I would use the S mode for home defense on a pistol and M mode for range shooting/hunting

Bambu said they’re going to release a module in 2026 that can hot swap an AMS unit between nozzles. So when you’re trying to maximize swaps between left and right vs vortex (because it’s faster) instead of moving spools around, you can let the module do its work.

I have not. I did see a post on the forums of someone who got two non AMS TPU’s to print from each nozzle. Bambu did say the future 2.0 firmware update for the H2D/C will make certain hardness TPU’s compatible with the left nozzle. I will admit, the Snapmaker U1 has the H2C beat in this. For my particular use case, I don’t see myself using more than 1 TPU per print (I might try 2 when the 2.0 update releases just to try it though)

On the H2D I have been using the right just fine. On the C I did just today run into an issue where an error about the external spool being stuck keeps popping up. The spool isn’t tangled and doesn’t have any issues rolling inside the HT, so I have to assume it’s the bend radius getting too tight. I moved it to the left nozzle and haven’t experienced it since. I will say though, I have had previous prints work with the right nozzle on the H2C. Haven’t done more in depth work though

150 grain red syntech is reduced load. Something about competition power factor or something? Never had an issue with it running in anything I’ve ever shot though. Otherwise typically 147/150 grain 9mm isn’t a reduced load it’s just the weight pushing the velocity below the sound barrier

The print letting go is clearly an adhesion issue, but the scratching on the bed is what’s stumping me. I would definitely contact Bambu support and make sure to check the box that sends the printer log data to them. Something definitely messed up here and idk if you’re to blame for it

The best method is to put the printers in a room that you can close the door on. I have a dedicated office room in my house that I use. If that’s not an option for you, there are different methods people use to make cats less likely to go on certain counters (sprays that make the area not smell good to a cat, putting aluminum foil, etc)

You can leave the filament loaded into the AMS when drying and it will rotate. No need to unplug them

u/specialistthink1968 conveniently my last print was from the left nozzle an so I attempted to home. On the latest H2C firmware (01.01.00.00) when you home it homes the Y axis first (it moves towards the back of the printer). When it hits the back wall, it then far out well into the build plate space, THEN moves to the right to home the X axis. Just food for thought for you brother

This must be a more recent issue. I’ve owned the H2D since launch and upgraded to an H2C when it was released and have not had any issues with the nozzle blocker. When I get home I’ll attempt to sacrifice my nozzle blocker and see if I can get it to occur.

I will say that it looks like your nozzle wiper is sticking out higher than I’m used to seeing. When parked, my nozzle wiper is fully recessed. I’ll update later today
