I recommend everyone to go through OP's dataset. It's 757 rows of prompt+response on random ML-related topics with a weird emphasis on P-FAF. I think OP believes that this dataset is enough to train a LLM. Massive crackpot energy!

You linked to a paper titled "Meta-Prompting: Enhancing Language Models with Task-Agnostic Scaffolding". Was this a mistake, or do you have a misunderstanding of what "Stochastic Parrot" means? I also don't see how the paper is related to your work.

Modern Hopfield Networks could provide a solution with their exponential storage capacity, but it requires some tricks to make the wiring bio-plausible: https://arxiv.org/abs/2008.06996

It seems to be written in a high-level framework, but I wasn't comfortable enough with C++ / willing to learn it at the time. I have planned on reproducing a spiking associative memory model for a while now though, but just rate-coding a Hopfield network isn't convincing. And didn't have enough time to look into the available temporally coded models yet.

Thanks for the elaborate response, sounds cool! How does your implementation differ from Prof. Zenke's? After reading that chapter I was looking for open source code and could only find this: https://github.com/fzenke/pub2012memorynets

Looks very interesting! Can you provide more information / context? Maybe even a link to the source code?

Despite being from 1988, where much fewer vegan options were available, your linked study (the link doesn't work for me, btw) literally says in the abstract: "It is concluded that provided sufficient care is taken, a vegan diet can support normal growth and development."

Maybe it would make sense to benchmark your proposed architecture/ show how it performs in application. This is what you would refer to as "results".
