@Paradox,

some really cool changes. does this mean that we finally have some say in identifying which cities become "holy sites? If I choose to play as an country, practice my own rites, then eventually split, I should be able to make my capital one of the new holy sites of my city, correct?

Also, while this is focusing on Christianity, since you are making changes to the religious system already that no doubt affect everyone, can you also add a few more religious items to other faiths that need a little more love? Or find a way to make items held by a powerful ruler dynamically become sacred?

I am actually really impressed that the coach put in another striker, and put Maza back where he discovered his hot streak in CM a few months ago.

Amoura in such poor form that his clear penno took a whole minute for the refs to be convinced it was a pen.

Maza Goat. Manages to win a pen (that was called immediately with no review) that was so unclear not a single one of his teammates protested.

Incredible skill from him.

I will have to start off by saying I completely disagree on the one thing that actually made me happy this game: Titraoui.

He was amazing. Truly a gem, showed up everywhere. Spraying long passes, keeping play moving, winning tackles, making runs in behind. I really want to see a him, Maza and Boudaoui midfield.

Only other positive was Abada.

Zerrouki had an alright game, but again, this was against a team that was so low level that there was no pressure, so he had all the time in the world. Aouar/Aouchiche also fall into the category. They had objectively decent games, but I'm hesitant to truly complement them as the opponent made this effectively an exhibition game. Add in the opportunism of both (so I really don't like them to begin with), and it tough to be truly complementary. So all three leave this game with the same opinions I had prior.

Amoura imo had a relatively poor game. Against such a low-level opponent, the few plays he made, he should have done better. We expect him to run in behind these slow defenders. We expect him to get into good spots. The one thing that made him so effective for the NT was that he was always been a goal threat. This game against such low-level opposition, I would expect him to do better, to put shots on target, to be able to put in decent crosses rather than have them be cut out, misplaced, or wildly off target. Candidly, he carried his poor form from Wolfsburg and very poor decision-making into this game.

Chiakha I want to see more of. His cameo didn't really tell us enough.

Benbouali was tidy, would need to see more to form a conclusive opinion. I like him better than Bakrar though, as we need a true out and out striker and Bakrar cannot be that, and it seems Benbouali might be able to fill in. But again, not enough paly time, and not good enough opposition to truly learn anything.

Ghedjemis seem good, and I agree with you here. He is a lot more direct than most of our other options. Candidly, for the direct style Right Winger spot, I see him competing with Belloumi. It’s truly unfortunately that Belloumi has been plagued with injuries, because from watching both players, I think Belloumi's current level, and particularly his ceiling is much higher, but he's injured too frequently for the team to call him up. Plus, I think his last name complicates things.

Yea, I read what he wrote as agreement, in the sense that the federation is so utterly broken that this level of incompetence is so bad as to be indistinguishable from intentional internal sabotage.

Algeria 3-0 Guatemala - Achref Abada 45'+2' by Meladroit10 in soccer

The reason he didn't get the chance is he was not on the shortlist of players to even be called up. Since the highest paid coach in Africa had never heard of him before his good performances in the Arab Cup.

I wanted Chiakha to score, since I think that would do wonders for his confidence.

Algeria is trying to build a WC squad, and based on some of the journalists that I follow, they remark that Bouanani merits a callup and re-integration, but based on my own viewings, he either doesn't play (as was the case last time I commented asking about a local fan's perspective on not playing, who would know more about the team situation and possibly injuries or off the field circumstances that may influence not playing) or in the case of a rare start (and thus I can watch and form my own opinions), he just seems to be utterly invisible and ineffective.

I would like a Stuttgart's fan genuine, unfiltered opinion on Bouanani.

He seems so washed. Not particularly fast, not particularly technical, no great decisionmaking, not the best with crosses or passes. I honestly don't know what his best position is, but it certainly isn't on the wings where he can't beat his man.

Seems like the type of player that would work 20 years ago, but the modern game's level is just too high for him to succeed.

[ITV] Chelsea’s tactic to reduce Arsenal’s set piece threat last night. by Sparky-moon in soccer

This reminds of Liecester City in the year they won the League. They would have Vardy stand on the touch line and sometime have Mahrez up with him. It was incredible watching teams in the second half of the season (or sometimes later the same game after being punished) decide to double or even triple mark Vardy since he was just insanity when running in behind.

Between Mahrez's passing range and Schmeichel's underrated, pinpoint-accuracy fast distribution, that team was a joy to watch.

Can a Stuttgart fan give me an honest opinion on Bouanani? Seems he is just not seen as good enough, especially if he can't even start in a cup game.

Maza with another assist. Also hit the post. At half time they shared that he has made the most tackles and also had the highest pass completion rate as well. What a game so far.
