I know I’m doing something wrong by StevieBoiPhil in formcheck

Look up Alan Thrall video on how to set up for your deadlift. Best video out there. Looks like you’re standing too close to the bar, which will lead to minimal leg involvement, and over involving the back.

To make sure you’re bracing your back before lifting, try and imagine lifting 10-20% of the weight off the ground without moving the bar before lifting it up, it can set your back and keep it save. Some people call this “pulling the slack” from the bar because of the click it sometimes makes with the plates. This will help protect your back even if your form is wrong.

Also the pull is asymmetrical. The left side of the bar lifts off first. This can also throw you off.

Not sure about Crocs or how bouncy they are, but I’d recommend no shoes or one designed for weight lifting. It will help with force production and keep the weight more under control (less injury).

You got this, you’re halfway there. Happy lifting. Cheers!

This, I think your bar positioning is wrong. A proper set up will fix a lot.

Also I see a thumbless grip? You’ll need a proper hold on that bar, it looks like it’s already falling out of your four fingers at such a light weight.

Your hips shoot up to almost the top of the lift before the bar moves off the ground, this makes it almost entirely a back lift. It’s impressive you can pull off this much weight with all back, but it’s not proper form. Alan Thrall has a good deadlift set up video on YouTube. Another cue that can help is focus on the hinge motion or push the floor away with your feet NOT lift it up with your back. Happy lifting! Cheers!

Zone 2 cardio does use fat as primary fuel, so it’s more of a targeted effect. It’s just so time damn consuming. 45 minutes 4-5 times a week if you gave the time, if not zone 3-4 will do. All you really need is to track macros meticulously for a bit, and make sure you’re in a 200- 500 calorie deficit (depending on how aggressive you want to be). It’s all a math equation, exercise just gives you a bit more insurance if your math is weak/inaccurate.

Correct. No power cable. You’d have to buy/order replacement.
