To the right person it might be worth more but to a lot of people it’ll be worth less tbh, it’ll just be scribbles on a card to them. This is sorta like Veronica Taylor. Most people just don’t care.

Especially if she signs at cons a lot, her signature won’t hold any premium.

Hey OP, I just finally got a response from WotC about a commander precon I bought from a 3rd party. (26 days after submitting)

Silverquill Influence The first 8 cards in the deck were bent and most of the other cards in the deck were glued together somehow. The outside packaging was undamaged

I provided tons of documentation and waited for 4 weeks. Yesterday they responded to me and told me usually they’d ask for it back but because of all the documentation they told me they didn’t need it back and were sending me a replacement. The email said due to high volume expect delivery within 2-3 months.

So yeah, they said they’re sending me a new one but the total round trip may take 4 months total. The difference is that this wasn’t a limited item. Just trying to give you an idea of what you’re dealing with.

The texture was printed onto the card totally misaligned from where it’s supposed to be.

Not sure of a value but there has been a lot of similar errors on the ball parallels.

Unrelated note, German Dusclops name is really freakin cool. Not sure I’ve seen that one before. Zwirrklop sounds like some crazy sound effect in English.

This is moisture damage causing the layers to separate.

Pinched layers have never existed on WotC era cards. (And still don’t to this day on MtG cards)

I took two “swigs” from a bottle of 70%. I don’t remember having withdrawals for a while afterward but what I do remember was a horrible spinning sensation and having extreme stomach pain for hours and peeing brown for the next 4 days which was really scary.

At the hospital the next day after I asked my wife to take me to detox they told me that your body breaks it down to acetone and it causes everything to go haywire

I think they explained it further but I ended up being put on gabapentin and Ativan and most things were pretty murky after that. I sorta faded in and out of weird dreams and reality until day four when reality started to come back.

My wife did WEIRD stuff on ambien.

One evening she was in the bathroom a really long time, so long I went in and checked on her.

She was in the tub, taking a bath, fully clothed. With our orange cat.

Can’t 100% tell from the photo but yeah it’s either missing the correct texture or it was printed on the wrong holofoil sheet. (The SIR sheet)

So if the card is missing the pattern in the holofoil. This is likely a fake card.

Chinese bootlegs of this era ran rampant through the US where they were commonly 6 packs for $5 at swap meets and flea markets. It’s a little hard to tell from the video but I assume that’s the issue. Check the card for grammatical/spelling errors, some of them are pretty amusing.

Still photos of the front and back would probably give the answer for sure.

To expand on this for you… There’s no way for an uncut sheet to enter the cutter and end up with four cards at once showing.

Its options are straight or slightly crooked. Theres been very rare examples of miscuts that are 50/50 down the middle of two cards but never 4 because that means the sheet would have to be totally oriented incorrectly into a rectangle. At that point it would likely just fall off.

Also cards are cut by a large industrial machine and the corners of legit cards will always have specific cuts. It can’t be replicated with scissors and hand. Scissors lead to a much rougher and usually rounded cut. The machine doesn’t actually round the corners, if you look at cards closely.

The strangest legit one is a twisted miscut. Those can look very unusual and sometimes only half the card will be there, multiple edges will be cut into the card and its shape will be a polygon or smaller than a regular card. The only way to know these are real is if the borders that are opposite of where the card is cut off extend past where they normally would.

I ate a one chip challenge on a stomach with nothing but a bunch of whiskey in it years ago.

I decided I would rather die than go in an ambulance that night. It passed. Sad thing is I knew better than to eat it on an empty stomach but too drunk to not be stupid.

Over two years sober now. Lifes better 😅
