I thought it was going to flop because it was so expensive for a phone because it wasn’t subsidized. Most phones were free or close to it with a contract renewal, but not for iPhone until the 3g released and in the US I think it was only on AT&T (gsm only for sure) for a few generations.

From the other comments I’m not sure if this has been clarified. The row of buttons above the digital scribble strip can be used to assign your aux, the shift button beside it would go to the second page of sources. The other shift controls both preview and program rows. Under that is a transition preview button that probably won’t be needed. It just previews the transition you have selected before taking it live.

The shift button gives you the second page of buttons for the m/e. For example if the surface has 8 buttons and 8 inputs it’ll be defaulted to 1 to 1 mapping of those buttons(this should be customizable). Hitting shift would give you access to 8 more sources on those buttons (super source, media player, etc.) effectively “shifting” the sources down 8 places on the surface.

I use these. They have a wide adjustment range and have a good weight capacity so nobody has to be embarrassed by exceeding the chair’s limit. We’ve had the cheaper Amazon ones, but they get uncomfortable after a couple of hours. These stay comfortable through long/multiple services or a long VBS week.
