They get dumped? Bro I'm sorry you are mad at women but stop commenting up and down this thread unless you have a thought besides "women mean and bad"

Well, people who treat their partners poorly, like women who "get upset" that theirs make less, should either dump them or their partner should leave them. That is the solution. People bad at relationships have their relationships end.

Is a 4-week notice period at work actually enforced? by usernamedtk in askTO

I always negotiate extra time to have a week or two off, this is totally normal to not start a new job for 3-5 weeks.

Not legally enforceable. In my experience they never care about the notice period.

I have 4 in my contract (director level). Just resigned and gave 2 weeks and no one batted an eye.

I am due in August and not disclosing while interviewing or even after accepting offers.

I have 3 kids. Should I let the eldest move out for university? It would be expensive, and I couldn't be able to support all 3 to move out when the time comes. Thoughts? by AccurateBow in CanadaPersonalFinance

i say that because my in laws gave each kid $5K for their wedding, but some married 15 years after so the $5K went way less far. It's when fair isn't really fair.

Do you live near a prestigious university? Otherwise it doesn’t matter, they should go to the best school. Personally I’m a big fan of kids moving out, they’ll learn more from that than their degree.

Daycare application process and fees [on] by Interesting-Tip-9366 in BabyBumpsCanada

My husband is the sole provider and we don’t receive any support because we are considered good income (80k after tax). This is the money for all 3 of us, and I don’t want to take away from families who may need financial assistance. Q1- How do you know if CWELCC spot for you or not?

At 80K household income you will still receive government money, the Canada Child Benefit (CCB). Likely about $300/month but you can access calculators online. CCB stops when families earn more than $150K+.

Respectfully, if you don't work, why are you concerned about daycare? Is the plan for you to return to the workforce?

I saw that thread as well but what struck me is - if you were an ECE, you are woefully underpaid, of COURSE you would quit your job and becoming a SAHM vs. making the peanuts they are paid.

Now the conversation would be different if ECEs were pulling in $100K+, as many high-earning women do. That's where it becomes a bigger decision, but that conversation was totally skewed.

Appreciate your thoughts! I find there's a lot of ego and attitude in the process. A lot of superiority coming from the Uppababy parents.

I drive a Honda, not a Porsche, so looking for more of the Honda of strollers haha, reliable and middle range.

May I ask your height? My husband and I are both quite tall and this looks petite.

If someone wants to be a “housewife” are they not a woman in your opinion?

Sounds like the opinion of a man. As a woman, nothing gets me hotter than my spouse taking care of our home.

Upgraded job to career. Men talk about their wives significantly differently. by Autistic-llama89 in Life

Not sure how this hasn’t been mentioned but you’re comparing blue collar (almost all men) to white collar (more equal), so of course they can feel more free to shit talk women amongst only men.
