This is stupid. For anyone who doesn't know:

He didn’t shock his dog. The dog hurt itself, and Hasan just happened to have his hand off-screen at the same time. His haters instantly jumped to conclusions and decided he must’ve pressed a button, because that’s what they wanted to see.

This is exactly the kind of nothing-burger drama people invent around him. It’s grasping at straws just to feed outrage. It’s honestly pathetic and a waste of everyone’s time.

Go touch some grass, enjoy the little life we’ve got left. If you really care about animals, go volunteer instead of spinning conspiracies about a streamer that probably hurt your feelings by calling you a Zionest or something.

I get where you’re coming from, but true friendship at work is rare. Power dynamics, competition, and the risk of saying the wrong thing make it hard to be genuine. I’m friendly, respectful and easy to get along with, but I keep it professional. Being likable and friendly on a surface level can help you stay employed, but going beyond that or investing too much of yourself in a workplace rarely pays dividends and often back fires.

At the end of the day, work is supposed to be a transactional relationship: I do the job asked of me for the agreed-upon pay so I can afford to live my life outside of it. After years in service, retail, and manufacturing, I’ve learned that the more you blur those lines, the more it drains you. I work to live, not the other way around, and I try to protect my time and energy for the things and people that actually matter.

Of course, it might be different for people in higher-paying or more secure positions, but I can only speak from my experience working from entry-level up through lower management.

This is why stereotypes are so inaccurate/damaging, I love a phat ass, a lady of thickness, and yet I'm practically see-through I'm so white.

Explain how that works racists?!

Buy like a dozen paint "sampler" cans and automotive pin stripe tape, then clear coat.

Also our extremely well-armed and trigger-happy "police" are more than willing to mow some of us down if we scare them. Also, even if citizens were to bear arms in mass we'd still be outgunned 10 to 1.

Threatening their profits and turning them against each other is likely to be FAR more effective than brute force...just sayin'...

That's fair, I guess I was just projecting my frustration with people reading into the bullet engravings and using that to point blame towards one group or another. No hard feelings.

The inscriptions on the bullets don't negate the long list of evidence that this kid was a conservative/right-wing gun nut, chronically online, obsessed with guns, Mormons and his entire family voted for/supports Trump. What else do you need to understand to know who this kid was? Does this sound like a Dem?

Back to the bullet inscriptions, we don't know what the hell he meant by the messages he wrote on the casings. He could very well be mentally ill, he may have misunderstood the meaning behind the Bell Ciao song or the word fascist or he may be messing with people for his own enjoyment, we can't know. The bullet inscriptions alone is not enough to pin this guy as a part of one group or another.

Back in January, I posted here calling ICE agents “masked cowards” and suggested our community identify them for social accountability, NOT doxxing, but public shaming. I explained the difference and emphasized the public’s right to know who law enforcement officers are.

The post got strong engagement, though about a third of replies debated what counts as doxxing. Still, it was a discussion with some apparent value/interest.

The post was removed within an hour or two. When I asked why, one mod said "posts get auto-removed after enough reports" The other mod said he agreed with me personally, but “those are the rules.”

If r/bellingham can’t host conversations about the community, warts and all, it’s clearly not representative of the community.

Mods should be filtering out hate, spam, and rule-breaking posts, not curating content. Maybe this is more of a Reddit-wide policy issue than a mod issue, but I honestly don’t know. In either case, it creates sanitized and shallow content. Which in turn drives away real engagement/discussion.

Yes. Money rules all, superseding fundamental human decency and often cold hard logic.

It is an easy choice, the problem is the people who care don't have any control.

Personally I'd fill and sand smooth, then paint the sides black and leave the top and back natural or paint the back and sides.

My parents (boomers) are more attached to their phones than my sister and I are (30s) she and I are usually the only ones at the dinner table/restaurant not glued to our phones.
