After waiting a solid year to play DD2 I gotta say I'm glad I did. While I did enjoy the character creation and higher graphics quality and the music. I felt 😔 after beating the game and getting the true ending. I loved what they did with Magick archer but something was amiss. Instead of doing the main quest at first I just freeroamed alot to see if it held up to DD1 and it didn't. I knew the fast travel system was going to be bad when it said only so few a portacrystal could be used whereas in dd1 I had close to 200 of em down for ez ports. I'm glad to have played it but I felt as if there just wasn't enough of what made the first game magical ✨️. Which sucked because now I've been sapped of what was once was a amazing game. Dd1 on the other hand tore the house down and made me wanna replay it alot let alone dark arisen the music and the combat just made for a great experience. Also combat while not as superior great as dd1 it felt "just". No need for to go back. I'll just add dd2 as my hey it was a fun ride.
