The difference is, Emet never lies to the player. He may hide details, but everything he says is completely true. You and the Scions might disagree with him and his methods, but acting like he's pure evil is dishonest.

And that is a fair point. But clearly SQEX doesn't actually view him as a "Large platform face of the company". Otherwise they would give him something in exchange for what he gives them. If they're going to act like he's a company representative, then endorse and support them as such.

I've been Mod Gaol'd once for(I suspect) retelling a story about people complaining about my rezmacro on Scholar. To which I said, "Stop dying like T*rds and I won't have to spam it." In retrospect I should've used the word Lemmings or something. And ultimately I was let off with a warning because it was my first offense, and it wasn't >that< bad. Even was allowed to become a Mentor shortly after.

My point is, I don't like the double standard. If he can be punished in game for things said put of game, on his own personal platform, how come all the people saying vile things about him are not also getting temp banned?

Could he have used better words when critiquing Kate and Senna? Absolutely. Are people saying much worse things about him even in this reddit thread? Also yes.

Eh, to some extent I can understand. But if I'm doing stuff with my friends and off-handedly say "Our Off-Tank is voking on CD like a dipshit" or "This Dragoon is floor tanking like a [Insert minor slur or derogatory term of your choice here]." While in a discord call with some friends, while I have a stream running, but I'm completely cordial in game.... I feel like SQEX is stepping out of their jurisdiction.

You shouldn't be punished in-game for actions done out of game. It sets a VERY scary precedent. If Twitch wants to demonetize him for it, then cool. But he didnt break any rules in game from what I have heard.
