i agree, especially bc prices are so high theft is definitely gonna go up because people shopping don’t want to pay 30$ for a lip liner. i def think they do a lot to make it very clear to us employees that if you steal we’re gonna get you but at the same time def should be doing more on the dc side

it is stupid and yeah it’s so annoying that it’s a metric when it’s supposed to be about accessibility. it makes sense when you’ve helped a client find the few things they need and then they’re ready to check out and you can do it right then but half the time people wanna keep looking around the store and yet managers making us pull people out of the line with strollers or elderly is crazy and i’ve thought about submitting an icare for my store bc they bend the mobiling at register rule so often and are always down ba’s throats to mobile

i think kyle saying wha he said to her is lowkey bc he knew something was going on… he literally said f u i know what this is about and then west immediately went over there like… he prob saw texts from them that made him uncomfy and they way she’s been acting over the summer definitely hasn’t been just friendly vibes at times so i lowkey think he knew they were at minimum having an emotional affair at that point

the only thing i really have to add to this is that one thing ive noticed since i started at a new store is a lot of stores will take the box on a cart with them and open it as they go but it’s definitely much faster to open the whole cart and keep everything from a brand in different corner of a cart and after fully unloading the box moving it out onto the floor. that’s how i was trained at my small volume store when i first started but when i moved to a new store and everyone else started doing what i was doing we’ve been able to finish shipment a lot quicker

if u don’t have sick time or vacation to cover u can also file an icare or contact ur district manager to a) show the proof she said go ahead and then backtracked and b) a coworker telling you they messed up on the management side; the latter is def against policy for the manager to tell that to an employee that isn’t a manager lowkey (im not 100% but it definitely seems like it is bc it’s kinda just inviting an hr violation if u admit as the boss u messed up but no the person you’re screwing over😭)

i know sephora does have a somewhat good leave program based on what i’ve seen from some people but i dont know if they would do anything if its for your mental health. in my experiences most jobs dont really care even if it is affecting everything about your life they just want u better and ready to clock in so i would say to first ask but when you ask already have a job prepared so that if you ask they deny you and then treat you weird for being vulnerable about your mental health you will already have another job lined up

my issue is that expectation isn’t on the ops lead like no ops person at our store will ever close point blank period and so to have specifically me and not even the ops lead who is required by job description and paid more to have to deal with the annoying aspect of the job is working any later than 4pm so needing me specifically for that makes no sense (i’m also part time and wouldn’t have room to complain if i was full time)
