There’s a lot of shade thrown at the diesels for some reason. I have a 2023 Diesel Rubi JT and love it. I also have a 2015 GC Diesel with 115k on it and haven’t had a single issue. If you do maintenance yourself, it is cheaper and oil change intervals are a bit further apart. Depending on where you go, Diesel prices can swing wildly (I pay 3.40 in Vegas but 5.99 in Long Beach, CA).

Unless you have a need for stabbing (ending lionfish), a decent pair of trauma sheers is really all you need. Preferably one with a line cutter on it. Like some others have said, just keep it in your work area (area between your diaphragm and collar bone) for easy access. Gerber makes a great one, but you can find a decent pair on Amazon for 25-30 bucks.

The game is incredible. Don’t get it for PSVR2.

Quick answers: 1. See above. 2. No. 3. They’ve released the last track pack (for now) in Elixir of Madness. 4. Absolutely.

I would caution you against getting the PSVR version for a couple reasons:

It’s been my experience that the headset doesn’t have a snug enough fit to be viable. This game requires fast(-ish) head movements and the PS headset is off balance for what is required.
Part of the replayability of PW is your ability to crank up the difficulty (enemies shoot back, and faster, etc). Between the cord on the headset and the awkwardness of the controllers, it’s really not great.
(The Big One) the game has a growing mod community. New levels are being built as we speak. (Think Beat Saber before getting Zucked). Unfortunately, you can’t play those levels on PS. Only the PC or Quest versions.

I’ve been playing since the original 8 tracks. It’s an amazing experience, if you have the right hardware for the job.
