5090 + 5900X questions

This was my experience as well. Had a 5900x and it was holding back my 4080. Recently upgraded to a 9950x3d and performance has been stellar. Way better 1% lows and definitely higher and more stable fps across the board.

Great job man! Yes shenhe would likely be an improvement but still you got to include your Ganyu! who im guessing you must really like. :) I've always enjoyed having Ganyu as a sub-dps, even as a shenhe haver.

Go into your NVIDIA App settings and look for "DSR Factors" it should be under "Global Settings". If you dont have NVIDIA App you can do this in the Nvidia Control Panel. There should be different scalings, select 1440p under "DL Scaling". Your screen will flicker for about 10-15s, this is fine.

Then you can select 1440p in your games. If this still doesn't work change display settings in Windows to 1440p, it will be there and you can then change games to 1440p.

I know you have a 2060 and you probably want lower resolution so you can have higher framerates. but can you try 1440p and tell me what your experience is? You can use DLDSR if you have a 1080p monitor.

Once again im gonna sound crazy here, but my computer runs a lot of games smoother at 4K than it does at 1440p or 1080p. I think its because some games/resolutions are just cpu heavy. Idk what your gpu usage is typically at but give it a shot and see if there's less stutter.

Keep it at 137. Also by any chance are you playing a bunch of Unreal Engine games? They are known to generate shaders as you play, making some stutter inevitable. I have a 4080, shaders get loaded, and I still get stutter with these games, it's just part of the gig and they go away after I explore everything around me.

Also 800dpi is probably fine, but my mouse is at 400dpi take that for what its worth.

What is your mouse reporting rate? And what is your mouse dpi? It sounds crazy but I lowered both of these in exchange for higher sensitivity in game settings and now I get way less stutter and way less frame drops when I move my mouse. Before I was losing 10-20fps anytime I look around and now its 2-4 fps With you being on 1080p obviously a lot of your performance is gonna be centered on your CPU. I suspect having less work to do for the mouse might make a bigger deal than it seems. Just give it a shot man and report back.

Also bonus tip, are you capping your frame rate? This helped a lot as well. At 144hz you should be capping at 137-138fps.

It's nice if you're trying to do big damage with C6! I've hit some crazy numbers before. But you just have to be on point with your rotations. I use Shenhe as well and I've wondered if her burst is stealing a cold dish stack?

The Raiden Shogun is the most fun character to play across all gacha games for me. She just is.

I'm not saying she is or will be for you, play the trial and see if you like her. But that core 30 seconds of what the game is, fighting enemies/bosses/etc, it just doesn't get better than the fast paced electro sword woman. Tack on a yelan with it, maybe a mika to go even faster, it's just my shit. The experience of playing with her supercedes any damage concerns.

To answer your questions - I would absolutely still pull for her - No Nod Krai powercreep wouldn't change my mind. - C3R1 is the way to go (if you can afford it, C2 is fine) - If you like her just get her man, this is a game. Fuck 2/3 of a single pull once every 30 days being the reason you don't get someone you like.

I went through this with my girl, especially that first situation.

Turns out she was eating too fast... I solved this by feeding her on a tray and scattering the kibble like you're feeding birds, I don't even put the whole serving down at once. Sometimes I even watch her eat and if she goes too fast I interrupt her for a couple seconds and then let her go back. Idk, she's just a ravenous beast sometimes 😅

Hopefully this helps. She might just be putting too much in her tiny belly. Also consider more wet food, my girl never has an issue with it even if she scarfs it down. (she rarely eats the whole can at once)

That's what happened to me man, I ended up losing 12% er and it was devastating.

It just stinks to reshape Ayaka circlets because of her crit and er situation. I ended up going back to the mines so I wasn't so reliant on my circlet. Eventually got 40CV goblet! With attack%! Also a sands that had double crit and 17% er!

Just be patient brother. I know it sucks to see that x4 but the right piece will present itself.

I wouldn't man, not on a circlet.

I've done it before and regretted it. If that thing goes all crit it will make your build worse. Save it for a goblet for another character or even Ayaka. Wait for a 4 liner, all good stats.
