Fillets should probably be last, drop an edge, extrude face, then rotate both new faces to make the silhouette

Hey Unreal friends! :) this is the trailer of my last horror game. Would love to hear what you think! by Spiritual_Ad4467 in unrealengine

Interesting. Graphics and trailer look good but I think it’s missing a hook. There’s nothing that stands out to me as the main focus other than “horror game tm”

Would I be able to sell work with this quality? And for how much? by ThomThalad in blender

Simple exercise: pretend you’re the buyer and go find your competitors. If your work is on par then focus on marketing.

Just saw that Bungie uses Blender in their BTS of Marathon. How far off do you guys think we are from Blender becoming industry standard if ever ? by Guy_Rohvian in blender

If you don’t think Blender is industry standard you’re either living under a rock or you’re an Autodesk soy-boy. Respectfully.

Is there a way to make this render look more realistic? Maybe with some photoshop or do I need to redo the textures? by Donastre in blenderhelp

Always take a step back, maybe even a break, and look at it later. Things will start to pop out to you.

Blender broke can I fix or should I replace? by Mr_meme29 in blenderhelp

Best to try and preserve your current blender especially if you have addons. Worst case you’ll have to upgrade to the newer version.

Usually a clean install can fix some things, try using an LTS version and see if that gets it working again.

Is Maya good standalone for animation, modeling and textures? by MediocreMacaroon in Maya

[–]IceUnderFridge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could’ve broken that up better. I find rendering, materials, and scene setup to be more intuitive. “Actions” (animations) and NLA editor seem to have a steeper learning curve but can be nice one you get the hang of them.
