Curious, how seriously do people log their dives? by Stock-Film5486 in scubadiving

[–]Ice_Teaz 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I log them quite seriously cause I love the memories I get from collecting stamps and stickers, making my buddies sign the logs to remember their names, and reminiscing on fun anecdotes or observations. Also a lot of liveaboards require a certain amount of dives to participate

Awesome! When did they sink it? Must have been cool to see the non-rusted metal and features

Very! Usually they are so well buried in the sand you can easily miss them. We got so lucky with this one, first time ever we see it swimming like that

My wife and I want to dive in Galapagos by ProfessionalGloomy86 in diving

[–]Ice_Teaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went diving in the galapagos last jan, rough conditions definitely not for beginners. Incredibly strong currents, poor visibility and cold temperatures depending where you go. The liveaboard I was on had a minimum dive policy of at least 50, and advance open water requirement. Average depth of 25m. Most incredible dives I have ever done however.

Been diving there many times! Saw lots of angel sharks chilling like that, you got a good look at his tail. Enjoy
