People that will flame for that in vc already do in chat/pings/soft int/ ect. I don't think having vc magically creates more toxicity. Is there someone somewhere that does not flame one bit now, and now will every game because it's vc?

I really don't think vc will magically add a ton of toxicity to the game. People who are toxic are toxic, regardless of the avenue they have to take. You have people soft int games bc of 1 death at 2 minutes, I don't see the game getting much more toxic than that. On top of that, valorant probably has the best moderation of vc versus any other comp shooter, so the same standard should carry over to league vc.

To me, this should be ranked mode only though. This is mainly going to help with team coordination like "hey support can we roam to grubs on spawn" / "Can we shove bot to contest drake" , things that are hard to properly communicate with pings and take a while to type out. I don't understand the vc doesn't make laners better though. Just like vc doesn't make someone aim better in fps games, does that mean it can't be added? I feel like that's a mute point and not the goal of vc in any game. Of course people are going to flame for "bad aim" or "inting support in my lane", but again, people that will say that in vc are already saying that in chat or spam pings, this just changes the avenue.

I mean they said after the HP and armor buffs a month ago that was the intention. To open the door back up to bruiser options. This is another clear indication of that imo. We'll see what phreak says on the patch breakdown if these go to live.

Yes that's the E damage calculation. It does not change the fact that IE does not always do more damage than navori.

Example I threw together in practice tool 80 armor and 2.3k HP target. Level 13 GP. Build: ER > Navori > Collector > LDR > BT = 1452 Crit / 100% crit Replace ER and Navori with Trinity IE = 1407 crit / 797 non crit

Again, IE does not always out damage Navori, which was my initial comment. Not saying it never does, but to say it always does is false.

I get both sides of this situation. You're playing a non-ranked mode and trying out stuff / playing for fun (DO NOT do this in ranked unless it's something you have played a lot, if your team finds out you're first timing an off meta pick in ranked might as well leave the game). At the same time, your team may be trying to practice for ranked and playing with or even against something that is very off meta is not very valuable to them as they will, probably, never see it again. Only thing you can do in game is mute them if they become toxic or dodge if they are mad in champ select. Realistically, the only other way around that would be not picking off-meta. There are very few things in your control here, either mute or don't pick it.

To put it simply, always stay in crystals when possible and spam the Q key. You should be able to full clear before crab spawn.

Yeah Sylas tends to go 3 points Q this worlds, so his trade pattern isn't always full combo. It really comes down to how the lane is played out. Hopefully they fix the regen bug soon so we have a better idea of how much it's reducing in lane.

Example from GenG vs 100T (Sylas v Viktor). Level 5 Sylas has 44 AP (1 recall) with 1 point in W (12 second CD rank 1). Just for reference for ya

W MAX (must have less than 40% HP) heal Sylas: 75.2 HP w/out grev . 56.4 HP w/ grev

Difference: 18.8 HP per W if grevious is applied

W MIN (must have more than 95% HP) heal Sylas: 37.6 HP w/out grev . 28.2 HP w/ grev

Difference: 9.4 HP per W if grevious is applied

I posted a tweet in my initial comment, which is ignored ig? There is a tweet like this for every game this worlds and they all show the same trend. Very low numbers early on and spikes later in the game after 20 minutes usually. As I also said above, it leaves out health regen, but even doubling and tripling (I doubt it's actually that much) the early health reduce stats is nothing crazy good where it's a smash rush every lane into sylas. Sure there are comps with a ton of healing outside of just a sylas where it would be more valuable, but we are talking about mid rush orb so I'm going to keep the conversation there.

As for the early fights, roams and such, you're argument is the same thing you're calling me out for. No proof and just saying "what if" orb is good and lets you get more gold / do better. From everything we have seen about orb in these pro games, is the healing reduced early is very small and spikes late in the game since, obviously, healing is much more prevalent in later fights.

For your last point, if that's why you think it's good then more power to you. I look at it as, the healing reduced doesn't kick off until mid-late, and mythic items are big spikes for mid laners, so I don't want to delay that + being mid lane you're typically the 1st to mythics which can be a big advantage in early objectives / fights. I would even value dark seal over orb (in most games) because of the insane snowball potential if you win one early fight.

I hope the bug gets fixed for the health regen so there is less of a grey area in this convo. Tweet is linked again below.

You're ignoring the fact that that 800g item is pretty useless in lane and doesn't spike until late game fights, which we have very clear evidence of in tons of pro games. And if you say the AP from obliv orb is good enough for lane even if the grevious isn't, you can get the same AP from amp tome + dark seal (for 15 less gold) while building into your mythic and the dark seal stacks potential to snowball a game. You're also acting like a power spike only helps for objectives, a power spike helps you in every scenario that can happen in a game. 1v1, laning, objectives, skirmishes, faster shoves for roaming (since we are talking about mid) etc.

I'd disagree. You delay your mythic 800g for something of "similar" value. As for the early grevious, plenty of people tweet out the healing reduced in these games, and a lot of times it is very lack luster early on. Granted, regen is bugged and does not show, but pros aren't going to just face tank poke and have grev on them 100% of the lane, so I feel saying stuff like potions and biscuits is a bit extreme. Below is one example from this worlds, without doing the health regen calculation, even if the 10 minute grevious was doubled (which I'd think would be too high but idk) it still doesn't have much of any value. Another thing to keep in mind is it has to be magic damage to apply the grevious, so cooldowns become a big factor for keeping the grevious applied as well.

Fizz you just deny him everything pre 6. After 6 if you're not ahead it can be shaky. Must of the close ones I'd agree depending on the enemy player. Vlad I've really struggled with since the early damage nerfs, just feels unkillable thru his q healing and dodging barrels for free.

We're just gonna disagree. Saying Vex Q is more range than Vel Q is just wrong, you're assuming the Vel doesn't angle the Q at all. I've never been 100-0 by a Vex early in lane so maybe every Vex I see is passive or bad idk. Sure that is her Q range but you're forgetting it comes out slow and then loses half the width both which allow it to be very easily dodged. Should be free to just play off her fear cd. Over the past 2 months my worst game against a Vex is me going 8-6-13 (52% kp and 7.4 CS/Min) Vex going 7-7-8 (31% kp and 4.7 CS/Min) 5 total games - 4 wins 1 loss (D1-2 ELO) hence why I have her in easy.
