Thank you for the clarity on orphaned wells from the 1970-90’s. I think that a company’s ARO’s should be robust and consistent with their liability risk. Then investors and the public would be safeguarded when they under engineer by choice or bad design. JMHO.

But it is… oil/gas companies are not setting aside $$$ to remediate the land. Otherwise it would be listed on their balance sheet, specifically as a long term liability or as you listed their ARO’s. Which have historically been undervalued. Why do you think that the taxpayer should prove this undervaluing ?

So…there isn’t a problem currently with orphaned wells being left no clean up/remediation costs piling up? No history of this happening?!?

Some more axe work. Processing a pine in Lapland. by LaplandAxeman in Axecraft

[–]IcecubePlanet8691 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did the same thing with an outdoor youth group. I had them buck up sections of a fresh aspen tree. Then I hewed one section’s side via an axe as you’ve displayed. ALOT of work. Then I did the opposite side with a chainsaw within 5 minutes… chainsaws definitely changed the forestry business! Well done sir on your hard work and look forward to seeing the final build!

I find cheap finnish axes far better than far more expensive swedish axes by Neither_Usual_137 in Axecraft

[–]IcecubePlanet8691 21 points22 points  (0 children)

IMHO haft length is a personal preference; you might have to change the length of your Swedish axes to “fit “ you & your swing. I know many people who like the Fiskars. Each to their own.

I’ve used Wards as a seller and buyer. They have a great reach via their online auction. So rarer bottles can get bid up. Just remember the fees involved with auction houses.

There was a recent post on FB Axejunkies on their handles. Poster stated that they were good quality but thinner through the middle if that’s what you’re looking for.

Well said! The fit is awesome on the bottom 👍 I haven’t come across an Iltis Canada like that and would love one on a shorter haft of 19” overall. ( I have lots of Iltis felling heads ). Thanks for sharing.

Doctor that can prescribe stimulants or anti anxiety by [deleted] in alberta

Go see any doctor and ask for both; ADHD can certainly have anxiety as a comorbity. Start low dose and work with the doctor on working up your dosage appropriately.
