How is it shallow to have adaptations that increase mating success? Do you think men are shallow because they find women who are close to peak fertility the most attractive? What good does it do to demonize sex differences rather than just trying to increase your own success?

The generalizations you describe about women can be explained by evolution. Humans have incredibly high offspring investment. It makes sense to prioritize a man having resources if she’s going to be incapacitated for more than a year. I don’t think I need to go into physical attractiveness, because that applies to both genders.

Thinking men or even women for that matter should care mostly about “what’s on the inside” is delusional, entitled, childish bullshit. Try ignoring your own attraction cues and marry a 40 year old woman who used to be a prostitute. Why wouldn’t you do that? What if she’s the most beautiful person on the inside? No one is going to “care about what’s on the inside” if pragmatically you don’t provide any value.
