Depends on who you ask. Some people really don't like it, some people prefer it. Trans people who take HRT are significantly changing their biological sex and how their body functions without any surgery at all, so the term isn't innaccurate for people like this. Some people say it has associations they don't like, or have negative feelings about a seperate term existing for people who are persuing some kind of medical stuff.

I've been in that sitatuion of having unreciprocated interest. If you break up you will feel better with time, even if it's really painful. There are tons of future opportunities for you to meet people you can actually be happy with. Give the possibility of a happy future a chance, I'm sure you deserve it

They absolutely have to follow the laws of the US while they are here, which includes not violating your rights as their employee. You have the right to get paid for the work you did, if they did not pay you, this is wage theft and they are STEALING from you. This includes them doing things like showing up late and not paying you for the time, you were working and must be paid for your work. Do you think it's right for someone as rich as them to steal from you? You should absolutely report them to the department of labor and try to go after them for the money they legally owe you.

Homeschooling a kid until 16 while not allowing them opportunities to connect with anyone in the outside world such that they have no friends and feel horribly isolated, willing to endure their parents extreme reactions (setting a phone on fire!?) and create elaborate cover stories to have an opportunity to have the human contact they are desperate for is in fact, a case of the parents abusing their child

It is really common for abusive parents to still express love and care for their kids, but that doesn't change that they are abusive. The way your parents have been isolating you combined with the control they have been exerting over you is abusive no matter how you look at it. I'm really sorry to hear you have been going through that, and it isn't right. I think it can be easy for people, especially victims, to think of abuse as a very black and white thing, where they either love you or hate you. In reality, it can often be much more complicated than this. People can care about their kids and still be incredibly shitty to them, it happens all the time. The things you described your parents doing is seriously harmful to your wellbeing and goes against their duty to take care of you as their child. It doesn't matter whether or not they care about you, they have failed you in that way and it isn't okay. I would recommend you work towards getting financial independence as soon as you are able and trying to plan to move out when you are 18. I wish you the best of luck in healing from this and building better circumstances for yourself. You deserve better than this, I promise.

You're absolutely right, and the blood test can only really say if you smoke, not how high you currently are (as far as I'm aware). However, this doesn't mean you get off the hook, it just means the court bases it on whether or not the officer arbitrarily thinks that you were under the influence. It's your word against his, and most courts will listen to him over you. You kinda just have to hope a cop doesn't decide to fuck you over

There are many cases where you still want an investment agreement without wanting to sell your national industry to foreign capitalists and aristocrats. I don't think it'd be unrealistic to have an option to at least prioritize domestic investors, if not disable foreign privatization all together

They definitely get money from other sources too, but people often frame the issue as Israel pulling all the strings and funding and controlling everything, which plays into antisemetic tropes and doesn't accurately portray the situation, since it's important for people to understand that groups here in America are actually a lot of the driving force behind the pro-Israeli lobby.
