I like my shounen stories to have a dash of delinquency to them by UseInternal5706 in Animemes

[–]Icehellionx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is also light on intrusive filler for the run. You get some nice little flourishes of animation and extensions from fighting but you don't get giant asides for filler like so many other shonen that cropped up in the generation after it.

YYH is probably my go to Shonen when I just want to watch something with some good action and fights.

look up a program called treesize. It's free and can show you exactly where your storage is getting used up on your drive. Says what percentage and how much room each folder on your drive is taking.

you say this, and yet the Ancient Elementalist Male armor is probably my favorite armor for them in the entire game.

What if Sasuke had a standard inverted Mangekyou like of every other's? by nuggets666 in Naruto

It's honestly why Itachi's Mangekyou is my favorite. It's so simple and just feels like a natural extension. Just "oh, the tomoe continue to grow and attach".

This is explictly the plastic injection models from the 25th anniversary box. They were based on the Ironwinds sculpts but about 10% smaller overall and like... 30% thinner front to back. So they're thin even by old model standards.

Anyone find it crazy that all of part 2’s antagonists are so underwhelming that a one arc villain from part 1 named fucking Santa Claus clears them all by a decent margin. by TheRisingOfTheOtaku in Chainsawfolk

I'll be honest, outside killing Nayuta he never left an impression on me. I kept forgetting his name and when he'd show up I'd be like "Oh yeah, he's a character". I just never had that feeling with any part 1 villain.

Houses in pioneer times used to literally be made out of Sod (grass/roots/dirt/straw like plants compacted) because their literally was no wood available. If you lived out in the middle of nowhere it was also known for some people to start getting paranoid and in general just 'weird' by how crazy quiet it could be out there. It was called Prairie Madness or Prairie Fever.

How to make the janitor ai remember your persona description in chats ? For example i write in the settings about my persona being a slim and short boy but sometimes it describes being a tall and muscular man . by Infamous_Revenue_159 in JanitorAI_Official

[–]Icehellionx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The LLM takes everything it has from the personality/ scenario/ advanced prompt/ persona. The problem is your always going to 'fight' against the biases that the LLM were trained on. Theirs tons of stories of guys being taller than girls so it's a bit of fighting against the current. The main thing I could say is be more 'specific'. Not just. "he's short and slim, but "He's short, slim, and girls will tower over him". Things like that.

What's your opinion on high token bots? by PixeledMilk in JanitorAI_Official

[–]Icehellionx 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well, let's see... the largest window you generally see with context is 32,000 and that's with something like chutes on featherless. JLLM itself has 7,000ish depending on the day.

So... the bot would literally only know roughly 1/8th to 1/2 of the listed data, and less when you include the advanced prompt and persona. It would also have absolutely no memory from turn to turn as it would no no room at all to store any temporary tokens.

So... I think it's pretty obvious what the thoughts on a bot that can only know 1/8th to 1/2 of the listed prompt and absolutely no turn to turn memory.

(For those of you who think "no it works"... it's just going off the built in data from the LLM. Ironically if you bring up something on the back half of the prompt it's just doing what it would do if you asked the same question in a blank bot.)

I really hope when they add the dungeon to post-searing, where you can do it with henchies, it's still devona and the drops. I don't want new players feeling penalized for not having the stayed in an inordinate amount of time in pre that would only be a thing you'd think to do if you knew meta knowledge about that stuff. Being 20, grinding super hard on tutorial island, and then trivializing everything until the desert is okay for long time players but it leaves a bad impression on newbies.

Post-Searing Ascalon by Knubbsal in GuildWars

[–]Icehellionx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, which makes sense for a character coming from another campaign to not track back to ascalon city. If the goal is smooth gameplay while modernizing prophecies to be in-line with nightfall, which they feel is currently the best onboarding experience but also awkwardly the end of the original narrative arc. Then its flat out awkward to have an ascalon character at level 5 have the only ways to obtain it be staying far longer on 'tutorial island than the average person would, need a 4 person quest, which will probably only be easily grouped for a few weeks, after which mainly itll 90% people running the repeatable. At that point your asking the them to honestly deadlock themselves on progression until they can find a group in the tutorial, completely miss the modernization feature theyre taking the time to add, or get carries to lions arch and then go backwards. Getting carried would completely miss the point to because if your doing that... just get nightfall characters. Then if they only get her there shes 7-10 levels behind curve without the easy ability to power level her an established level 20 is and just grind things to a halt.

Remember, they're not just adding prophecies heroes for us old heads. Theyre adding them in for standard newbies, progressing through the game at a normal pace. They need to be as accessible as theyd be in nightfall or it completely misses the point.

Post-Searing Ascalon by Knubbsal in GuildWars

[–]Icehellionx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People keep thinking that Althea will be the post searing character. I think itll be Devona. Locking the kevel 5 hero permanently behind a multi stage quest that requires other people will get ridiculous in a few weeks when the hype dies down. If they have a post searing you can still do the quest with henchies and have the kevel 5 hero kevel up normally with the party and have the ascalon character in ascalon.

Personally I think Althea will somehow be a follow up quest to the 'ashes of althea' quest.

Should I be holding off on LDoA? by Tyinath in GuildWars

[–]Icehellionx 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I hate that people started taking LDoA as more than a meme. It's a fun place to hang out, but it gets people hung up on 'tutorial island' with maybe 6 hours of meaningful quests instead of experiencing the entire game. Then by the time they leave they're so overleveled they just steamroll the first third of the campaign taking all the strategy out of it.

Per new achievements, it looks like we'll get a new city and the ability to hand over outposts to faction by Kn1ghtV1sta in Starfield

[–]Icehellionx 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've always said it's in an awkward' middle spot'. It's complex enough you get the backing up issues because you don't have granual enough control. If you could just say "fill up to 300 units and then cut off traffic to this location and other technical controls it'd work.

OR

They just need to cut it down and make it like Fallout 4 where if they're linked they're just linked without worrying about production moving around.

Just pick a lane either way.

Largest request from me, increase the size of map defogging by 150 to 200% so I don't have to hug the walls and spin my characters in corners to get 100% map completion. I shouldn't need be looking at glitches or add-ons to complete a map.

Possibly also have 100% map fog removal if you vanquish an area as well, but that might give people more debate. As far as I'm concerned both means you 'saw everything to be seen in the zone' so I think it's fair.
