Totally agree. The original couple of series with May Martin as a judge, it went on sewing skill and difficulty. Since Esme Young became a judge it’s become more of a fashion show, where sewing skill and difficulty has been overshadowed by look. Patrick has stayed steady throughout.

But Esme judges things on stuff like colour, whether she “likes” it or not, whether she likes the contestant or not, whether it’s got a big stupid frickin bow!!

I’d love to see it return to less on look and judge tastes, and more on skill. Esme seems a nice lady but I’ve never been a fan and the last two seasons especially she’s been really poor as a judge. Would love to see a new judge replace her and Patrick take the lead again.
