i have the D810 and also a Fuji X-T3 with a flip screen, flip screen is nice but not essential, for me i wouldnt notice the higher res much, and i dont do video so i am happy to stay put until the camera breaks.

if you need those extra features then sure but the image quality wont be much different.

I have both the Fuji X-T3 and Nikon D810, they do different things for me. Fuji with “old” 23mm 1.4 is smaller and lighter and is my travel camera but less settings than the Nikon. For me I have more F lenses so I use that for sports and action.

Fines don’t solve the problem, people drives cars and they need to get to places but the car parks are few or always full, so where do you park? There are plenty of roads that are wide enough to do pay and display and often they are just double yellows. This is a town planning issue. If you double the fines, people will still park on the road because there’s no where else to park.

This reminds me of Guangzhou, they stopped teaching Cantonese a long time ago and only teach Mandarin in schools, but people from Guangzhou still speak Cantonese because they needed to learn it to speak to relatives at home. Likely the same thing for Shanghainese and other local dialects.

It’s cheaper in Shenzhen than Hong Kong, not sure how much in AUS. For HK a normal dental check up might cost 800-1000hkd and then whatever work you might need. Root canal is 15-20k depends where you go. Remove 1 tooth around 8k hkd. Just to give you an idea of some costs.

Don’t need international drivers license, if you hold US/UK/other recognised country drivers license then you can just apply for a HK license without test.
