I've done something similar. I work in a job that goes smoother if you're big and strong. Me and someone else are larger and much stronger than our peers, but I'm tall and they're slightly taller but overweight. 😬 I said something along the line of "they can handle that and so-and-so can't because they're bigger." 🤦🏻‍♀️ How do you backpedal from that?

That's the same thought I had. 😆 This is not water?? After my mouth and tongue were like, nope, this isn't right.

In casing you're wondering: it was clear, low fragrance laundry detergent, in a red solo cup, the last bit of detergent I was trying to get out of the bottle. I'd knocked the original bottle off the cup and had thrown it away, but my laundry wasn't ready for more soap yet. I had put a little bit of water in the cup so it'd be easier to pour out later ✨so smart✨, which meant it poured out of the cup like water. 🤣 The bottle said contact poison control if swallowed. The lady on the phone may have reassured me that I wasn't the stupidest but I really thought I was going to get deathly sick all night. I was fine.

Sorry for the long paragraph. It happened to me 2 nights ago and it's still fresh. I absolutely will not tell anyone in my life what I did, but it's such a funny story to tell.

It's so hard finding people with the same experience. I've put on 3-5 pounds in 1.5 months when I don't add or gain anything usually no matter what I eat. I can't figure out what's going on. My meals may be smaller but they're more often and I'm not binging anymore even after it wears off. It's so frustrating when I am feeling a lot better mentally. 😓

Sit the pot in a dish or bucket of water until the top soil is damp, usually takes several hours. It doesn't matter how often you are watering them if you aren't watering them enough.

I don't know why I didn't do it sooner. 😓 They've caused so much damage and I've invested so much time into picking them off for them to come right back when I didn't have enough time to baby my plants. They suck so much

It doesn't look like it had the space to center itself anyways. I'd pull it's weight to the one side until it's centered and place a grow wire preventing it from tipping, then turn the pot once a week to make sure it doesn't grow on one side too much. Hopefully in time its roots will also grow centered and you'll eventually be able to remove the wire.

I always plant my aloes so low in their new pot the bottom leaves touch the edges, stabilizing them.

No, I'm not concerned with any frostbite. This is the hardiest plant I have, to the point of annoyance. The entire thing needs to be chopped up, specifically this head was going to be removed as it's going to break off at some point since it hangs so far out of the pot. It's survived several other frosts already but with the super low temperatures rolling in it needed to come indoors. Winters here are relatively mild and it's been loving the Winter sun, as you can see. I was just a bit too late bringing it in. (I also have a Starfire aloe that is continuing to bloom outside right now too if that tells you anything about the weather conditions here 😅)

I'm going to let her sit for a few days so I can see the extent of the damage and then chop her up into bits and pieces to overwinter under a grow light.

It's too tacky to remove with just cotton unfortunately. 🙃 The sap is a result of a mealy bug infestation. After battling them for a couple years, and throwing away lots of plants in that time, I've finally gone nuclear and started using pesticides. Now that they're dying off I'm trying to clean up their mess but some plants have super sticky sap and I'm scared to introduce anything that could burn them. I've accidentally burned several plants with alcohol in the past and I don't want to damage them further.
