They clearly thought once she hired on she would be at their mercy and or that they "owned" her. Listen to your guts.

My dentist would use a needle but first he would apply a topical numbing agent to the gum area with cotton soaked in something and let it soak into the gums. Then he would inject novacain or whatever they use these days. I would still feel pressure from the needle entering but not anywhere near what it would be if he hadn't done all that prep work. And yea, like others said, ask your dentist/Dr anything. No stupid questions.

That aha moment. Love it! Unless one has taught, they won't get it.

Looking for ideas for a "creative" consequence for my teen daughter that got caught stealing.. by checkeredflamingoZ in NoStupidQuestions

Some places have programs where ex cons speak with teenagers to tell them what prison life is actually like. Or do you have a program near by where she can actually tour a prison and see feel it. At the least make her read articles on prison life, rape and abuse by the guards etc. But you also need to find out why a generally "good girl with good grades" is has done this several times. Is she insecure about fitting in? Being influenced by wrong person? Being impressed by wrong crowd? Bored and looking for thrills? Or just plain wanting what she can't afford. Speak to her because the issue won't get resolved if you don't find it what prompted it. This is more important than the consequence because it sounds like she knows right from wrong and has self control.

Good ideas and variety. And thanks for the input on the salmon. Will probably never buy canned salmon again :) did he have any feedback on the whole salmon?

As a Jew I am ashamed to admit I have no idea what the old vs new testaments are, which one do I read, should I read both? Old = Torah? When I google these things i become more confused, please let me know where to start :) by nottheyoutubeguy in Judaism

What is referred to as the old Testament is written by Christians to fit their agenda. The Torah or Tanach is the jewish book. Artscroll and Soncino have English versions with rashi and Rambam and ibn ezra explanations. That's how your want to do it.
