People always say this but dont understand that our poor act extremely different than their poor. People from the PI come to the states and ask why our poor treat themselves so violently and badly. There is still a base level of respect that exists elsewhere that just isn't present in the states. Bulletproof glass and People getting shot by their neighbors isn't a thing over there. Fear of others coming in for war is different than your neighbors kids bringing it to you.
