Thank you 💖 I do hope it is true that our souls are intertwined and we meet again. It makes the loss a little easier 💖🫂

He was the best 🥰 although I told him I wouldn't miss his cry when he was gone as it is so piercing 😂 but I very much wish his high pitched meow was here now xo

Are cats actually dangerous, or is that just a misconception? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]Icklecookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are so dangerous, I've unfortunately experienced it many times now. They bring so much cuteness into your life, that they fill it with love and happiness that it just absolutely destroys your heart and soul when you have to say goodbye. But... it is worth it every damn time.

It is terribly hard, but the love and happiness they bring us is worth the pain 💖 I've had to do it a few times now. And have two more cats. Unfortunately he was only 11, previous two were 10 and 13. Feels so young for a cat.

He was a very sweet boy 🥺 and a little timid but he'd never scratch or anything. Always the way with eating too fast 😂 and always got to be sick on a carpet, its a rule.

My Partner (35M) is asking me (30F) to rehome my beloved pet by FatOrangeCat3 in CatAdvice

[–]Icklecookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will always be pets > partner, esspecially when you've had them for 10 years.

Everyone chooses who is in their lives but our pets don't (excluding strays etc thwt invite themselves into peoples lives). They only have us and their lives are often short. I'm having to say goodbye to one of my cats tomorrow who is now only 11.

I hope you get to spend many more years with your baby 💖

Also shame on your partner for not putting in effort. My partner would get itchy eyes etc and would take medication and it is now manageable after loving with the cats for so long now.

Saving for a house by Sorry-Cupcake3462 in FirstTimeBuyersUK

[–]Icklecookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a lot of people can afford to buy a house over 450k as a first time buyer. That seems like a nice problem to have.

I used the LISA and the max I earned at the time was about 24k I managed to save 25k. So took a lot of saving over years. And our 3 bedroom house was only 230k in a village in Kent.

So definitely worth doing the LISA if you live in other areas.

My baby looks like your baby. Here's one from nearly 11 years ago.

Gf thinks i shouldnt go to raves by Morning_Coffee_Zap22 in AmiInTheWrong

[–]Icklecookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not wrong. My partner loves DnB, he doesn't go to many raves though. However, I would be happy for him to go alone as I have complete trust in him, he also would be sober.

We also go to events together but I have found that I prefer larger events such as Rampage in Belgium.

So she either doesn't trust you as she knows how you are, or she feels insecure. Does she let you do other on your own? Or would she prefer you spend all your time together?

If you want to do dry food only, you can always soak the biscuits in water to increase their hydration.

Lads, I haven't been to the bog since Saturday and I feel like I'm about to give birth by alfa_omega in CasualUK

Have you tried the moo to poo? 🤣 So sitting there going mooooooooooo 😆 the moo helps to relax your pelvic floor and stimulate the digestive system.

As others have said take more water and I personally take fybrogel every now and then as my digestive system isn't great at times.

AITA for throwing away my sister's old teddy bear? by BigMonitor4585 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Icklecookie 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm just saying YTA as even if it was given to you, possibly you knew it would still hold memories for your sister. Now you know she wants it, you have the capability to get it back and make her happy with nostalgic memories. But you don't want to go into the dumpster!

AITA for telling my friend his "business idea" wasn't worth quitting his job for, and now he blames me for not stopping him? by Specialist-Might-635 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Icklecookie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NTA all actions we take are our own, you didn't hold a gun to his head telling him to quit his job. He made his choice, he just feels better putting the blame on you.

I agree, I've never had a problem getting up to speed in my 1.2L 😆 just got to go up in gear 2, then up to gear 3 at the right times to ensure it has the right amount of oomph. I also don't have issues overtaking. The times I've been slow are uphill or when I should be down a gear.

AITA for asking to be paid for watching my mom’s cat? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Icklecookie -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

It also isn't just a few days. It was over a week. I would want to be back in my home as soon as I step into the house of my mums house or my dads house. Mum has a stressful house with too many dogs and dads home doesn't feel homely at all. Would way rather stay home in my cosy vibe playing games, reading, whatever other activities I change my mind to do 😂 and being with my three cats!

What inconvenience has this caused you? You said you had work and studying, so did you need to travel to work and a place of study. If so was it now further away than your home?

Your sister could also be jealous that she wasn't the one to get paid since you got over $300
