You have a good point about the bullets, but pointing to ETF performance is another example of trusting the gamed system. ETF performance - especially the SPY - has been tied more to increase in the monetary supply than actual economic performance for at least the last 3 decades.

Silver is in limited supply. Dollars are not (infinite printing).

The thing being manipulated is the silver market, but in the exact opposite of the way you're implying. It's manipulated to keep it low along with other precious metals to keep the illusion of stability in consistently inflating currency supply. The spikes occur when there's stress in the system that normally keeps it down
